Re: Slough Town v Dartford Tue 25 Oct 2022
Great result! Judging by the commentary we grew into the game and dominated the second half. Was worried it was going to be a frustrating night with some of the saves their keeper made in the first half. Really happy with the way this team is progressing. I'm sure there will be bumps in the road but...

Re: St Albans City v Dartford Sat 22 Oct 2022
Would've taken a point before the game, and looking at results around us it's an even better point, away to a team that is very good defensively.
Looking forward to reading reports from those who are there, including how the debutant got on

Enjoying the commentary once again. Sounds like we're in a very tough game with St Albans dangerous going forward.
Hopefully we can at least hold on, a point here would not be a bad result.

Re: Dartford v Tonbridge Angels Sat 15 Oct 2022
Another nice win, and this one wasn't as scrappy as they have been. I thought we completely dominated the first half, could've and probably should've been 2 or 3 ahead going into the break. We had a dodgy spell in the 2nd half up until their penalty miss where they looked like the more likely team t...

Re: 12 Games Gone
Overall I'm happy. If I'm being honest I expected to be slightly lower in the table around the edge of the playoffs so to be in 4th joint points with 3rd we have to give huge credit to Dowse and the team. It was always going to be a difficult transition/rebuilding period especially after the amount ...

Have to say I am really struggling to hear the commentary today over the crowd noise (not that they are watching the football)

Re: Player news
Margate Football Club can confirm the signing of goalkeeper Dan Jinadu on dual registration from National League South side Dartford. The 20-year-old shot stopper spent the 2021/22 season with Barnsley where he impressed largely for the U23 side after joining from West Ham. After departing Oakwell,...

Re: Dartford v Hungerford Sat 1 Oct 2022
Happy with that today. While we were sloppy at times with misplaced passes overall I felt like we controlled the game, I don't recall Hungerford having any clear chances to score, aside from their long throws which always worry me. Well done to the defence in keeping a clean sheet as well. Joe in go...

Re: Dartford v Hungerford Sat 1 Oct 2022
I'm sure today won't be a pretty game, everyone knows what Hungerford are like I just hope the officials don't fall into their game plan and the game can actually flow. Even though they've had a bad start all but one of their losses have been by a single goal so I still expect it to be a tough game ...

My suspicions about racism were confirmed then. Such a shame, hopefully that idiot gets a lifetime ban not only from Princes Park but from all football stadiums.
Well done to the club on getting a statement out so quickly.

Re: Dartford v Eastbourne Tue 27 Sep 2022
A very good win Firstly on the match itself first 20 minutes were very shaky similar to what we saw at the weekend however after that I felt we did well and controlled the game, limiting Eastbourne to very few clear chances. Another set piece conceded, what more can we say?! Samir was different clas...

Re: Dartford v Eastbourne Tue 27 Sep 2022
No idea how this one will go! Eastbourne score a lot but also concede a lot, no doubt it will be a tough game.
I'm hoping the win at the weekend will be the start of a nice little run and we can build some confidence.

Re: Dartford v Hampton and Richmond Sat 24 Sep 2022
Win is the main thing, a good second half from the lads First half was poor, there's no sugercoating it we had a few half chances and forced their keeper into 1 good save but overall we was giving the ball away and misplacing passes far too often. Second half much better but still think we need to i...

Re: Dartford v Hampton and Richmond Sat 24 Sep 2022
The first of 3 must win games so hopefully we can put in a performance that shows we deserve to be a playoff contender. Our goals conceded have been very silly with most of then coming from set pieces, hopefully a clean sheet tomorrow! I am surprised we haven't seen more incoming this week, with Fri...
