Casey Stoney strongly tipped to fill the current vacancy. Her appointment would surely fit in with their new Hollywood connections. Sadly, because it isn't a surprise, she has received on-line abuse just for being a candidate. She has posted a very good reply, but I doubt if these type of idiots would be able to comprehend the message. It is going to happen some time and Wrexham would be a very interesting level for it to start at.

Maybe at Step 3 Llamaman, I could see it happening there.
The nineteen year old in Singapore is a prime example of online abuse and has got his just reward. To do it halfway across the world is very easy today.

Yes it would be quite a high entry level, but she seems quite impressive when I have heard her talk. On a recent Womens Super League show she gave the officials a right going over, but getting in the old chestnut 'I know it's a difficult job but'. Yes her Man Utd team had lost, but any male manager from the Premier League down would have been proud of her mini tirade. Besides managing United for 3 years, she has had spells as player manager of Chelsea and Liverpool, played 100 times for England and 4 times for G. B. at the 2012 Olympics. But she will have surely learnt the most about management from playing under ex Dart Vic Akers for a good few seasons at Arsenal. Vic led Aresenal Ladies to many a cup and title.

Reading the names coming out of the woodwork today I expect Ms Stoney's chances are receding. Mark Hughes, Chris Coleman. Nigel Clough, Jim Gannon & Michael Flynn, who has done so well at Newport over the past few years, it would be a real gamble to pick her over any of these.

Very true. I expect that with the money being invested into Wrexham they would have to get a 'Name' in.
