So on to the next one.
We've never had much fun at St Albans and have had very poor results there in recent years. Nevertheless, there's nothing like a win to boost your morale so, fingers crossed.
St Albans aren't having a great time themselves at the moment, having taken just 1 point from their last 4 games.
COYD.

Recently watched the Braintree v St Albans highlights and I suggest that Deren , Bonner and Vint get a good nights sleep cause they will need to be at their best IF the St Albans No 9 and 10 play this Saturday , St Albans were very unlucky to lose [ down to 10 men early] and could even [ with a bit of luck ] have won, will be a tough test for the Darts , a point would be a good result here [ certainly based on recent visits
The St Albans defence looked a bit iffy [ seems they are bringing in a new centre back today] but our shot shy forwards would have to go up a gear to trouble them !!!!

I watched the game against bill and Ricky and thought exactly the same about the front players. They attacked well as a team. Certainly not as strong defensively so let’s go for it.

I always enjoy visiting St Albans a bustling Town/City only 10 minutes walk from the football ground. On the downside I've yet to see us get a decent result there. Last season we got a 4-0 stuffing with their star man Merson getting an hat-trick, but as with the Chelmsford win we must be due a good result there.

He’s still there, came on as a sub in their game against Billericay.

No doubt about it this will be a tough game. Trying to look at it positively if we can put in a decent performance, defend well, play football and win imagine what that will do for the confidence of the side.
Result aside east Thurrock was not a good performance and they had several opportunities in 2nd half in particular that sometimes did and didn’t result in a shot at goal that they wasted albeit a major change in effort from but us we shouldn’t even be discussing effort.
Easier said of course at St Albans but we can win. I back Jamie and flan to get this right and while there’s not a lot of time in football they need a little patience.
Never again can it be accepted the lack of desire we’ve seen this season and 100% from every player is the very minimum requirement. If they can’t get this every week from the players then there has to be questions on them.
If they are struggling to impiment ideas and a new style of play then my belief is patience is only fair.
They’ know what they’re doing but they have got to implement now and perhaps be a little more vocal on the side line. Not shouting and screaming but constructive and effective Just my opinion.
We can win at St Albans no doubt about it.
