Supposed to be on a average attendance basis. Chesterfield, Hartlepool, Notts Co, Stockport, Torquay, Wrexham and Yeovil will receive £95,000 a month, with the other national clubs receiving £84,000.
The majority of North and South clubs will receive £30,000 a month with Chester, Dulwich Hamlet, Hereford, Maidstone and York recieving £36,000. I think it has be stated these payments will be initially for three months.

If we get that much it would be a great boost.

Attendances. The >5,000 group in the premier division and >2,000 group in north / south get extra.

Works nicely for Oxford City / Concord Rangers...

A number of NLS & NLN clubs are already complaining about the amounts being granted to NL clubs in comparison to what they are going to receive. A total of 13 NLS & NLN clubs had higher average attendances last season than some NL clubs yet they will only receive £36,000 or £30,000 per month in comparison to a minimum of £84,000 per month that some NL clubs will receive.

Many clubs in the NLS & NLN with higher average attendances are saying that the money that they are to receive is very welcome but it will not cover their costs. Hereford have already issued a statement saying that they are disappointed with the lack of engagement with member clubs in the determining of the grant allocations. It seems that the NL board has set the grant amounts without consulting the clubs.

It doesn't seem right to me that NL clubs with smaller average attendances like Boreham Wood, Dover, Barnet & Maidenhead, will receive £84,000 per month whereas the likes of York, Chester, Dulwich Hamlet, Maidstone, H&W, Telford, Boston & Dartford, among others, who have higher average attendances will only receive £36,000/£30,000. I think the allocation of the grants should have been based on the average attendances across the three divisions. As DA Mikey has already mentioned the likes of Concord, Oxford and Hungerford will laughing their nuts off with delight.

Yet another farce dreamt up by the National League committee. We now have an elite within the elite!.

Gov. response from petition to request fans be allowed back in stadium as follows, not the news we wanted but not unexpected;-

You’re receiving this email because you signed this petition: “Allow football fans to attend matches at all levels”.

Dear,

The Government has responded to the petition you signed – “Allow football fans to attend matches at all levels”.

Government responded:

We will take the earliest opportunity to look again at getting spectators safely back into stadia but this must clearly be done carefully against the prevailing health conditions.

Football clubs form the bedrock of our communities and play a vital role in the local economy. Their importance has been clearly demonstrated throughout the pandemic with clubs at all levels providing incredible support to their area.

That is why the Government is committed to supporting sports clubs up and down the country, with many football clubs benefitting from the Government’s unprecedented financial support to businesses.

The Government is fully aware of the importance of getting spectators back into stadia for many sports, and the financial consequences of the decision not to allow this from 1 October. The evidence received from the Chief Medical Officer was very clear that at a time of rapidly rising infections, and when the Government was considering restrictions elsewhere, it was not the right time to undertake any further easements.

We will continue to work closely with a whole range of sports to understand the latest thinking that might allow spectators to return. This includes the creation of a new Sports Technology Innovation Working Group of sporting bodies and health experts to analyse new technologies which might support this. This will supplement the draft government guidance, and the SGSA supplementary guidance to their Green Guide, which has been internationally welcomed.

We are committed to getting spectators back into stadia as soon as it is safe to do so.

The Committee is made up of 11 MPs, from political parties in government and in opposition. It is entirely independent of the Government. Find out more about the Committee: https://petition.parliament.uk/help#petitions-committee

or put another way, those three missed penalty kicks in the play off final, cost the club £54K in handouts alone, and Dulwich get an extra £6k to boost their drinking club! Don't get me wrong, we should be grateful for anything HM government agrees to grant us, just saying.
