78/79 Eastern Professional Floodlight League

Could anyone kindly enlighten me as to what happened during the 78/79 Eastern Professional Floodlight League competition?

Dartford qualified from the South Thames group,finishing ahead of Gravesend & Northfleet and Tonbridge.

But did Dartford play any further games?
(possibly a quarter-final or semi-final versus Gainsborough Trinity,Harlow Town or Hastings Utd)

The final was never played and the competition was left uncompleted.

From Princes Among Men (copies still available!), semi finals were played against Hastings United in the August of the next season, drawing 0-0 at home 9th August 1979 and then winning 2-1 in the second leg on the 14th August 1979.

It looks like the competition was never completed, but Darts did make it through to the final.

Yes the final was never played,it appears versus Barking,always a shame when a competition gets so far but doesn't complete.
