The break in football will damage income flow for our club. I make it that we have three home games to play and the club would have budgeted for the income from these three games
I feel that we have a great manager in place and watch he has achieved is amazing. He and Hakan were my choices as the next manager and I have to admit I knew Steve was good but not expected this level of delivery. I think we are now the best team in this division and a play off promotion was a real possibility. We may never see the season finish now
I don’t want Steve to feel the fans take him or the club for granted and I want him here next season
I would have paid the concession price for the last three games of £27 and probably the club would have made a profit on my £27. I am making a wild guess and say the profit they would have made is £20
So I am donating £20 to the club to go directly into the fund gate receipts would have gone
I am suggesting as many fans as possible ( if their income allows) make their own calculation and donate accordingly
I am just asking to whom is the cheque payable and the address to send it to please

I’m a season ticket holder but I am willing to donate some cash to help out if necessary but not sure how to go about it

Re: Unusual times - help our club
At the AGM on Monday it was agreed to increase the number of voting A shares you can hold from 30 to 50,
These are £25 each. The B shares are £1 each, there is no limit on these, but you need to hold at least 1 A share.
This is a good way to help the club financially and you get to see the accounts and vote at meetings.

I completely forgot about the AGM on Monday.
Re: Unusual times - help our club
How do you go about buying shares?
Re: Unusual times - help our club
Pushing the shares is a good idea as fans actually get something in return for the support they are providing. Can't find anything about buying shares on the website - even used the search button.
Needs a big social media campaign in this time of need - but need to make it super easy to buy - Paypal for example - where's our Marketing Manager??

If I remember rightly I think the club aren’t allowed to advertise the selling of shares but if you go in to the club shop and ask they may well have the application form that needs to be filled out.
Either that or just ask a club director or chairman and I’m sure they’ll gladly help you out.

That's right - the Club are bound by certain regulations about the advertising of shares. If you contact the Club (either telephone or email, I suppose) and request share information, they can send it to you.The 5th Searcher wrote: ↑Tue Mar 17, 2020 11:52 pmIf I remember rightly I think the club aren’t allowed to advertise the selling of shares but if you go in to the club shop and ask they may well have the application form that needs to be filled out.

Great idea Rambo and was something I have been thinking myself. Its a shame that the club cannot put a link on here or on the website to then download and send back with the payment to buy shares but rules are rules I guess.
I already own a share but am happy to buy a few more in these times of need ( and would have been money I spent at the club anyway ). Failing this, is there a way that any money can be raised through the supporters club and then "donated" in some way to the club.
I am sure the club rely on gate money each week to balance the books so anything we can do to help, we should if we can afford to.

Let me make some enquiries, and I'll get back to you. Personally, I think the share idea is the better of the ideas because then you get something back for a donation, the Club get the money and we all get to feel nice and warm and fuzzy inside.Dartford Hammer wrote: ↑Wed Mar 18, 2020 8:36 am Great idea Rambo and was something I have been thinking myself.
