If the match goes ahead, we need to bounce back please from losing at home last week. Down to earth after a fantastic run. They have major pitch issues and the forecast does not look great.

Fingers crossed its on and we get a result.

We really have to start winning again and this won't be easy, regardless of pitch issue's. Teams above us are slipping up and Welling done us a huge favour last night. Maidstone will be on our tails soon and we really need to maintain the pressure on all around us.
Maybe the pressure is on us now because WE have suddenly become the team to beat.
This won't be an easy game by know means.
A point would be nice a win essential, but with another named storm on the way, it may not be played.
Up the Dart's. No really, Up the Dart's

Reginald here, putting up a tune today that has nothing to do with DFC. I just think it's a damn good tune and I'm trying to brighten up this place. Weve been brilliant in recent months and you watch kingy get the guys going for Saturday. He never backs down from a challenge. COYD

Great tune Reg 👍
Tough game again but very winnable. Important to get back to winning ways. I know we’ll do it! Is Elliott suspended for the game?

According to F A website it's one match from 15th Feb.

Sounds like he is. Stating the obvious, he’ll be a big miss. However, in my opinion a break will do him good. Elliott’s worked his socks off over the past few weeks but hasn’t scored in his last 5 games. He’ll come back sharp and fired up to go again. I’d expect to see only one change to the team to face Ricay - Sheringham for Romain.

You might be right, although Giovanni McGregor was a little disappointing last week and Billy and Tyrique had a rare off day, so with Amrit Bansal-McNulty back from suspension and Nobes champing at the bit, I think we might see a change there. Of course it's very early days, but from the little we've seen so far and despite his being sent off, Amrit was by far the more impressive of the 2 recent newbies and personally I still think Nobes is one of the very best players in our squad. Last week we lost the midfield and I was really surprised that Lee didn't get on at least for half an hour or so. That said, I can't deny that I've really enjoyed the Steve King revolution and it is irrefutable that the football is brilliant and all his changes have elevated us to another level so what do I know. So I'll just sit back and enjoy the football whilst hoping that Nobes knuckles down and fights to get back in and prove himself in Kingy's side because in my eyes, he would appear to be a perfect fit for the energetic and mobile style that we are now playing.

Me too! That came was made for Nobes the way it was going. My view is that wholesale changes isn’t really the stock of SK from week to week and, in the case of Billy and/or Ty, can you really justify dropping them after one off day. Interesting though with Amrit back from suspension and Wynts seemingly fit again.

I really hope the weather is kinder to us than today. Can’t see Ricay pitch being fit though.

I completely agree that SK is unlikely to move Billy or Ty as they have both been playing really well. That's why I said we might see A change and not SOME changes. If I was a betting man, I reckon Amrit will come in for Giovanni.

My comments about Nobes are more in hope that he sticks to it and fights to get back in the side, rather than expectation that he'll be selected on Saturday. We've seen a lot of players go recently and nobody's complaining because better ones have come in. Nobes is different gravy though, he must surely be in the top ten all time best ever players at our club. He even managed to excel in last season's disappointing fiasco which is why we came close to having the first ever unanimous decision for supporters player of the season. I guess it's testimony to how much we have improved under Steve King, that a fit Lee Noble is sitting on the bench and it's only mildly surprising. There would have been riots in the street had that been the case last season.
