Just read the Steve Tervet article about Ronnie. Good read and Tom Bonner rates him highly. He is one of many 'crown jewels we have had at Dartford, my angle is for us as a club to protect players like this from being signed by bigger clubs 'on the cheap'. I see other NL clubs sign players on longer term contracts, so, has Ronnie (and players like him) signed a longer term contract as in my honest opinion we have lost out in the past, Tom Bonner himself & Tom Champion spring to mind.
Also another thing to consider is those sell on clauses, we haven't struck it big yet have we? Maybe as a club we should command sell on as well as a larger transfer fee up front, in case of no big money future transfer?
Hope Ronnie continues to grow in stature and help Dartford win trophies, sure happy he is with us and a product of our academy!
