NEW SIGNING: Jordan Gibbons

We are pleased to announce the signing of Jordan Gibbons. The 25 year old defender joins us having been with Chelmsford City earlier in the season, and the previous season was at Welling United.

Steve King ” Jordan is a defender that is well known to me after playing over 30 games for Welling last season, including the playoff final. He is an attacking fullback that also has league experience with Yeovil in league 1, and abroad in the USA with Rising Pheonix. ”

Jordan is available for selection against Kingstonian tomorrow.

Welcome to Dartford FC.

Premier League experience, well Scottish Premier League experience came on as a 89th sub. for Inverness Caledonian Thistle against the mighty St. Mirren in his only appearance :D . Seems to have had a long battle with injuries, and injury was the reason give by Chelmsford for his departure after only 1 game for them early this season. Fingers crossed for better luck at P. P.

51 senior appearances since 2013, with 30 last season. He got a good write up for his one Chelmsford outing despite them losing 4 -1. missing the 4 - 0 win against some team or other in their next match. Played a match for Whitehawk earlier this month.

With Mark O just coming back into the squad after a long recovery from his knee injury, Rob Howard not allowed to play in the cup, Charlie out injured and Jordan Wynter not having played since his knee injury we needed some cover.

Very interesting with R/B. Not a lot of games hopefully not like JC bringing players who played for him before let's see

Difference being players who played for Steve King before generally ended up in the play offs or better so think we can trust his judgment.

Never trust Wiki or internet facts. That's the problem. Believe when you delve deeper he played around 50 games plus in the last 2 seasons.

We need to trust king. It’s fair to say his record shows he knows what he’s doing.
