After the thrashing Chelmsford took yesterday they will be low on confidence so I'm predicting out first league win of the season.

I wouldn’t be so sure Happy Chappy, they will have a point to prove and will come out fired up.

We are the ones that need to kick ourselves in to gear, it’ll be yet another tough game. We never get the greatest of results over there and they are always a very hard team to play.

I agree with the 5th ,Chelmsford are never easy at their place , we will do well to get anything .
Unless we can get control of the midfield we could be in for a long night!
St Albans and H&W took control of the midfield and we were hanging on, I hope that Lee and Ryno are playing because
Imo we need Noble's work rate and Ryno's crosses for
Cunnington.

From what I heard on Saturday Noble is away on holiday still injured. I don’t think he’s even really taken part in any pre season at all so possibly won’t be match fit.

I make our form DDLLWLLLDDL going back to the dismal day at Torquay when their ground was falling apart. Not good with just one isolated win at home to Billericay by virtue of a last ditch brace by super sub Tom Murphy who is now at Cray.
Its seven points from a possible 33 (two from nine this season), so in that respect alone a draw tonight would represent an upturn. Chelmo haven't had a great start either but beware the wounded beast.
Off to Dorset for the day but hope to be back for the match.

Watching Chelmsford manager Rod Stringer explain Chelmsford's 4-1 defeat at Weymouth on their forum made me smile especially at the end when he said "Of course the game against Dartford will be completely different, its about tin hats, getting into one anothers faces and winning individual battles on the pitch". Sounds like he's expecting the game could get physical. We may have to release our little terrier Lee Noble if he's hopefully fit.

I never realised that in our last 11 games we have won 1, drawn 4 and lost 6 .
I am not going to make any predictions but those statistics
are very worrying.

Being covered by Kentish Football tonight so plenty for us non-travellers to read tomorrow morning. Hope the weather clears up for those travelling.

I'm hoping we can rustle up a draw tonight, but as said, Chelmsford like to 'do' us as we do them. But I can't really see us scoring to be honest. Let's hope they don't.
So on that basis I will go for a 3-3 draw.
