2019/20 - positivity and how you can help

I'd like to wish everyone a very happy 2019/20 season. There's been a lot of hard work from all sides of the Club over the summer and I'm hopeful we can all work together over the course of the season.
There are many ways you can do this:
1) Join the Supporters' Association.
The Association is for the fans. We want to help out the Club in whatever way we can and we can do more if we're all working together.
Over the last season, the Association have put a lot of work into raising funds for the Club, and this has meant we have been able to donate a number of individual things to the Club as well as aiding in projects around Princes Park.
Community Pitch
The dugouts on the Community Pitch have been repaired and renewed, along with additional signage for the small stand. We've also begun work on creating a picnic patio overlooking the Community Pitch, as well as adding signage for the DFC Womens Team.
Facilities
There have been further storage sheds installed at the Stadium for various projects, as well as a smoking shelter near the Champions Bar. We have contributed towards the renovation and extension of the Champions Bar area, as well as committing funds to furnishing and flooring this area. Other than the Champions Bar area, we have committed funds to help with the cost of re-carpeting the downstairs area and landing/staircases.
There has also been a contribution towards the Air Conditioning system installed in the upstairs suites in Princes Park, as well as a contribution towards the security gates and height barriers in the car park area. Included in this, we have also covered the cost of some repairs to the car park itself.
We have purchased a new ice machine for use in the physio room, as well as repairing an old ice machine. On top of that, we have also bought training bibs for the Womens team, and the previously mentioned GPS vests to assist in First Team and Academy monitoring of players.
By joining DFCSA, you can help us to do so much more for the Club. If you travel by coach at all, you get a £2 discount off of each trip which after only five games pays for the membership. We have three members draws across the season, each for £50 of Club Shop Vouchers. The Association also manages the Warbler Club Lottery Draw, which for £5 a month gets you a chance to win one of eight prizes, the top being £200, every month (except in April, when the top prize is £1000).
2) Get behind the players and the management. Last season, this place wasn't particularly pleasant with some, in my opinion, over the top criticism posted on here. Everyone is entitled to an opinion, but please consider whether your opinion is likely to be a positive influence or a negative influence. Players read this, Club officials read this, Committee members read this and we're all human beings.
3) Support our events! We have monthly quiz nights, twice yearly race nights and are open to hosting other social events - if you've got any suggestions, please email dfcsacom@gmail.com.
This rambled on a bit more than I would have liked, but we're all so passionate about the Club - let's work together.
