Heard a whisper that Alfie Pavey is off to Havant.....with some compensation due to Darts?

I had also heard the same, just hoping it's not true as they was after him during last season.

Yes I believe it was Havant and Billericay both after him just before Tony signed him on contract, so it will be down to his agent to get the best deal ££££.
Wouldn't it be nice if he sees sense and recognises that another season with us would help his career develop and then perhaps even better offers might just come along.

I would go with Havant if that's the step UP the boy's looking for. Good luck to him whatever he decides.

Hi Trevor, I will be happy to see Alfie sign again. At the same time it won't be the end of the world if he goes elsewhere, I just feel that he is not as good as he thinks he is and that there are better forwards around at this level. I would like us try to sign Jordan Chiedozie or Coombes & Joe Healy from Welling. Also like Kebabus's view on Jack Conners. There are so many good players out there but I guess it is just a case of whether the funds are available.

Alfie has his fan club but he is not the finished article .imho.
He is a talented goalscorer but needs to be more of a team player

I think Alfie level is the level he played last season , I think we will see him at PP next season but sadly not in a Darts shirt money talks sadly

I'd like Alfie to stay but IF money talks then sell him to Billericay [ they got plenty of cash] and use the money to bring in Cumbes from Welling who would be a very good acquisition !!!
