I have been a long time admirer of Barcelona and their football.
But even I was 'pleasantly' shocked at Liverpool's comeback and victory last night. Didn't see the game only the goals, and if the Darts had let in a goal like the winning goal, I would have been annoyed.
Still, always next year.

I've always admired the late Johann Cruff of Ajax.
Even I, was 'pleasantly' surprised at the Spurs' Comeback and Triumph last night.
If Darts had won that way, I'd be Cockahoop...

Amazing that the climate change/ Scientists are calling out for less air travel, and we have 44,000 supporters of English clubs trying to get to Madrid and Baku for Euro Finals, admittedly, pre ordained by the powers that be before the season started.
Why don't they wait until the two/four clubs reach a final before allocating the venue for both finals. It's not rocket science.
It saves the planet and still fills the penny pinching airlines/hotels/restaurants who are screwing the supporters over year in, year out.

The organisers are probably as shocked as the rest of us that FC Grozny and Dinamo Tbilisi both failed to reach the final. And don't get me started on climate change united wanting to spend their whole lives travelling. Someone has put me in a foul mood already this weekend. I miss football already despite craving the end of the season just a couple of weeks ago. A beer, I think.

Never mind about the Liverpool & Spurs comebacks, what about the Darts in the 87/88 Southern League Cup Final against Bromsgrove?
2 - 0 down after the first leg & missing a penalty, missed another in the second leg, then 3 second half goals made for a wonderful comeback triumph. One of the best nights at Watling Street. Then another final win in the Kent Senior Cup at Priestfield a wonder goal by Peter Taylor against Maidstone meant another cup came to Dartford.

I get your enthusiasm llamaman, but Bromsgrove and Maidstone venues??? Hardly Madrid and Baku. Still, so many memories to be added to yours, I bet.

Ah, but the games I saw were at Watling Street & Gillingham, superb modern stadiums full of atmosphere.
Anyway had the Darts had a league cup or county final on either night of the Liverpool or Spurs games I wouldn't have been in front of the tele watching their games. But I did enjoy them & although no real feeling for either club I was really cheering them on & it certainly was dramatic, but not a touch of the atmosphere or excitement at PP when we beat Welling in the play-off final.

M1, the doors are closing and a lovely stewardess called Sam (I think it’s a stewardess) is bringing out a couple of Havana cocktails out for us. Get a wiggle on!
