Let's try and get behind the boys on Saturday. Three games left, let's try and give it our best shot to get into the playoffs.
Coach leaves at 11:30 from PP

I will be there backing the boys 100%, if they give it everything they've got i'm sure all the fans will get behind them.

I know the wheels have come off lately and there's a lot of pessimism around at the moment, but when you take a calm, calculated look at the table and the remaining fixtures, there is still everything to play for. We may not be a great side, but we're better than what we've shown in the last few games and at some point we are going to come out of this slump, so why not this Saturday? Too many people seem to have given up and are already talking about trying again next year. WTF!!! Even if we think promotion is unlikely, there's only 3 regular games to go and a play-off place is still in our own hands! Any players who can't be arsed to turn up or have mentally thrown in the towel should be shown the door and told never to return. Whatever else has happened at this club, we have always had a team of fighters who give everything for the badge so at the very least, we have a right to expect our team to battle until the end and put up one hell of a fight. Play a few academy lads if necessary, but the first requirement must always be to make sure that playing for Dartford FC really matters to EVERYONE out there on the pitch.
So let's get things in perspective. We've had some bloody good results at certain times this season and there is absolutely no reason why we can't win on Saturday at Eastbourne. Many of the teams around us have to play each other and Billericay and Bath's recent form is almost as poor as ours! Who knows how many points we'll need, it could be 5 or 6 would be enough. Let's at least give it our very best whilst we have this chance because what was the point of playing 39 other games if we are quitting now? We can worry about next season once this one is over. In any case, if we miss out this year there's no guarantees we'll get even this close next year. A Darts' WIN on Saturday and the world will seem so much better.

Yes, spot on Spike. Just that if we'd got at least 10 points instead of two from our last 4 games we wouldn't need the rallying call.
Still, as said, three on Saturday would be a good start.

Yep, no point in giving up at this stage. I'd rather be in our position than WSM's and they have thrown themselves a lifeline over the last six weeks by beating Torquay and East Thurrock away and us at home, they also held Chelmsford to a draw over there to give them a shred of hope for survival in what must have looked like certain relegation at the beginning of March.
Our final three games will end DFC's 2018/19 season in one of three ways - they could either follow suit of the last 6/8 matches, we finish bang mid table and the mood will be very bad indeed; we could take seven or nine points, finish in the playoff lottery where anything is possible as we know very well (thus our wretched March / April spell is largely forgotten); the last case is 3-6 points, leaving us just shy of 7th (probably due to our non-existent goal difference) and we try our best to erase the many disappointments of the season.
The good scenario is only possible if we avoid defeat on Saturday. Lose there, our playoff hopes are shot and I don't mind admitting it will a bridge too far for me to 'keep the faith'. Incredibly, Eastbourne's form is actually worse than ours (because they are bottom of the form table), so at least they are not steamrolling teams out of the way left right and centre. Of course, this counts for diddly when we are in the same position.
Would just be nice to see us score some goals! COYD

Don't forget though DA, both our remaining away games are on astroturf, & we never seem to play well on that stuff??

So I should abandon all hope? Was our last 3G effort at Slough though?
