It's never too early for a match thread. As the games are becoming fewer, the stakes are becoming higher, I think our playoff quest will go to the last game of the season away to Oxford. Lots of team news to talk about, is Vint, Robbo, Charlie & Crook fit and did anyone see AP making a welcome run out.
Whether we are good enough only time will tell but for now we must get back to winning ways as we are still in control of our own destiny.
Dartford v Chippenham Town Sat April 13th.
Re: Dartford v Chippenham Town Sat April 13th.
If we finish 5th we will be at home in the quarter final, bringing in a bumper crowd & much needed extra revenue for the club so there is still so much to play for?
1st to 4th looks nailed on, so we are in our own little mini-league for 5th-7th.
Come on boys, lose the flip-flops, come back from the beach, & let's go for it these last 4 x games!!

Injuries look to be a major problem-
Roberts not expected to play this season
Sheringham may be able to play some part in last four games
Crook, Vint and Onyemah all doubts.

No idea! The injuries the other four are suffering from are all mentioned in Adam's interview in the "Dartford Messenger." In the case of Phil, Adam simply states that he doesn't expect him to play again this season, so maybe personal matters father than an injury.

Can we still bring in an additional player at this late stage of the season.

The only thing mentioned in the interview is the possibility of getting Joe Healey to help out, but I am sure that Tonbridge announced some time ago that he had signed for them to help out if needed in their efforts to get promotion.
Does anybody know if Kudus and Delano have actually left now? They were originally on loan and could presumably be recalled.
Similarly Dan Derbyshire was originally registered for another club as well, rather than actually leaving DFC completely.

Just when it seemed we had got ourselves together and had a team to be proud of again, something seems to have gone awry and the team spirit seems to have nose-dived. It's very odd and not something we've been used to for the last decade or more. There's also something amiss about the Phil Roberts situation, the absence of an explanation doesn't sit well. It's all very disappointing as I felt we were in with a real shout in the play-offs but now it seems we may not even be in them. I guess we've been spoilt with players who have always given their heart and soul for our club. Here's hoping the old guard can help us scrape home and at least take part in the post-season shenanigans.

It is certainly a pause for thought, across the whole of Non League Football it seems. Clubs drawing Players from farther afield,, run by governance with no particular local allegiance, other than running a Football Club. End of Season becomes 'where is my next best deal', rather than a drive to ensure 'Your Team, Your Manager, and Your Supporters' want you to remain in the Family. Our overall structure, has ensured a Club stability rarely found these days, and a handful of those who fight well beyond a mere pay check. Losing a game, title, beloved Player, has never been easy across the years, but the strength of 'banding together' as Board, Manager,Supporters, Team, is the ethos of DFC success as an entity. None of us can control how things develop on the pitch to the Seasons end, but we can appreciate that Dartford FC is our Club, and in facing the challenges all non League Clubs now have, we actually belong as a viable entity, moving forward together -with a better chance than most.

Just what you need in the run-in to a play-off place. Uncertainty.
Doesn't bode well for Saturdays game in my opinion. Still, should get a point out of this one.
Why, when the club is supposedly open about such things is there no explanation on the whereabouts or injury problem to probably our most dangerous forward we have??
