Darts v Truro (Sat 30th Mar 3pm)

Truro beat us quite comfortably earlier in the season so I expect our lads to be keen to get revenge and show them just how much we've improved. Hopefully our inspirational captain Bradders will be back to ensure everybody stays on their toes. We must win at least 3 or 4 more games to make the play-offs and the sooner we do that, the less pressure there will be on us as the season draws to a close. We obviously need to step it up from yesterday's lacklustre performance but it's a bit of a free for all at the moment and 3rd place is still up for grabs.

According to the "Messenger" the club may try to sign a goalkeeper to provide backup for the last part of the season, including possible playoff matches.

Wonder if Truro will try to sign one as they lost their Keeper Saturday!

Definitely up for a bit of revenge following our 'experience' against them earlier on in the season.
Didn't hear much from Crook on Saturday, is it likely that he will start this one? The injury list is pretty threadbare and don't think we have any suspensions, so hopefully a full squad to pick from.
Truro will only bring ten fans so we will need to make up 99% of the crowd like Torquay did as away fans in their game at Painmoor if we are to maintain a four-figure gate.

Sounds like we'd need to up our game a good bit from last weekend's standard to win though.

Whatever happened to that lad (Ryan Nicholls) we signed as backup then?

Don't know about Truro signing a goalkeeper, they need to get new coaching staff as they have parted company with their manager and assistant manager.

Like I say, they are letting in goals but are also scoring. We should be able to cope especially with Elliot playing (hopefully). I feel that Darren must start the game, and presume that Mark is still injured and Dan will start at the back. Feel that Dan has been pretty consistent this season and in fact has got better as games have gone on.
Hopefully, not a repeat performance re H&R game, and we will get a win under our belts. With Wealdstone away at Torquay we can take some pressure off.

It's all gone quiet on here. All good then... and is there a need - to - win game later??
