Torquay v Darts (Sat 16th Mar 3pm)
Torquay v Darts (Sat 16th Mar 3pm)
Every time I've started the match thread recently we've had a great result so here we go again. With Nobes & Bradders suspended and several injuries, a visit to the league leaders will certainly put that lucky streak to the test. Skip and I will be there to find out. COYD

Think you're pushing your luck now Spikey, but I'll go with it. Never know with this team.

I hope that Joe Healy (and Billy Crook) are both available for next Saturday at Torquay. With Nobes serving the second game of his 2 match ban and Bradders starting the first game of his 2 match ban (Hampton & Richmond being the other) we could be very light in central midfield otherwise. Tom Bonner is only 1 booking away from a 2 match ban as well.
Re: Torquay v Darts (Sat 16th Mar 3pm)
Tom Bonner is ok for now, the cut-off for 2 match suspension for 10 yellows is today, now it is 3 matches for 15 bookings.

Wonder if the attendance will be higher than the 87 there last year against Truro.

And most of them were stewards. It's a superb stadium but it was about as welcoming as Stalag 17 when we were there earlier in the season. At least the battalion of stewards won't look quite so ridiculous with the presence of home supporters. Maybe we'll even be able to get a coffee without an armed escort.DA Mikey wrote:Wonder if the attendance will be higher than the 87 there last year against Truro.

We will be there hoping for a better performance than we gave against Truro

Given the weather and the forecast for the rest of the week, playing this game on Saturday is in the balance and on the Torquay forum there's talk of arranging a back-up date for the middle of next week. I know quite a few Darts fans have booked hotels for the weekend so fingers crossed, but if they do call it off, let's hope they make the decision early to prevent wasted journeys.
