Woking v Dartford (Tue 5th Feb, 7.45pm)

No game this weekend so we have to wait until next Tuesday when we visit second place Woking who are 4 points behind Torquay with 2 games in hand.
Woking have obviously been going quite well although their most recent result was a 2-0 home defeat by Wealdstone.
I've come to the conclusion that it's virtually impossible to make predictions this season, not least because we never know who's going to be available/playing.
What I do believe is that we do now have sufficient quality players in our squad to beat anyone in this division on a good day, with all our best players on the pitch.
Of course, we could argue all day about who our best players actually are ... maybe that will give us something to do between now and next Tuesday.

Pugh
Greenhalgh Crook Bradbrook Noble Hayes
Onyemah Bonner Vint Johnson
Vose
Can't remember us playing 4-5-1 this season and we ain't gonna have AP up front (Sheringham it is), but no point in putting Bradders, Nobes or Crook on the bench in favour of another striker as they ain't scoring. Maybe Roberts has turned a corner, he'll probably play so we'll see. The only one I'm unsure about is Hayes as I don't know if he's better than Murphy since he is so mercurial. Maybe in another ten years time we will know for sure.

We could have signed 2 new players by then, got another loan in and loaned others out...who knows it's been that kind of season so far.

Sullivan up front. With a back four of Read, Carr, Binks and Stevens.

What are the odds this game being on with this bad weather heading our way.
I like DA Mickey's eleven but I guess this is when everyone is fit and available. Sadly, we don't have a bench at this moment in time but I guess that we are due for some new arrivals before too long, has anyone checked the transit lounge lately? I would like to know how many players we have used this season and whether we are approaching Tommy Sampson's or Bob Makin's record.

Woking's game off today, so they will be well rested on Tuesday too. Much milder weather promised so the match should go ahead.
Even if Hemel hadn't had progressed in the trophy we would still not have played them today as the bad weather has meant their home tie has been postponed. Our league match with them has been re-arranged for the end of March I think, can't remember the exact date but it is on the club twitter feed. Just checked, it is late in March, but only if you consider the 5th of the month late oops. I see the players were using the Fairfield Leisure facilities for a morning fitness session.

Says on Woking’s site that admission has been reduced to £10 for this one (£5 Students / U16s).
