3.45am Can't sleep so i have picked a team I would have liked and inverted V formation for Saturday where we can go for goals and the managers are too young to remember

it's only a dream and I will be there on Saturday right behind the managers, players and fans whichever team and formation we play and lets get that win and stay in the playoffs.

Always tough going there, whether New Writtle or this Athletics track Chelmsford are one of our main rivals.
Should be a close fought game, let's add steel and consistency now and we can cement that play off place.

Trevor I like that. (Arthur it's only a dream) Saturday is big isnt it. I know you will be cheering them on. As we know whoever they decide on they are DFC. I'm going behind enemy lines and meeting some of their fans for a beer in the Railway pub at 12. Sort of made friends with some of them after past match debates (predictive text came up with a word then). So see you at the bar. And ahum wheres my pint

You little turncoat Arty. Fraternizing with the enemy. I suppose what it all boils down to is a game of football in the end. Stops trench wars apparently.
Be nice to think we can get a draw, but this fixture does have it's added spice in a way. If only to see if the managers stay for the full ninety.
I'll go for 1-1 but wouldn't be surprised if we win. Now that's a sentence that's asking for trouble.

I'm going in bayonet fixed Ozy. Just sort of spoken to a good few of them after a run in with them in the past. Sort of like them now as they really are like DFC fans being going for years. Last time in the bar I spoke to Stringer who said to me " You know what ,I'm like you , I love my club just like you love yours" thought fair play really and that's it. Not nearly as bad as Billericay in my mind

Chelmsford's old ground ay New Writtle St was one of my favourite away trips but I bloody hate the current one, it's a crap place to watch football. Nevertheless, I'm looking forward to the game and after Saturday's performance and the recent improvements in personnel, I think we go there with cautious optimism. COYD
Hey and Arthur, I'm quite happy to be Private Pike as he's the only one who's not dead.
