Wealdstone Vs Dartford Sat 5th Jan

Post by Jonty »

Thought that I would start this off as I am on an unbeaten streak of one game. They gave us a real good seeing to at our place and it will be interesting to see whether we have closed the gap. I really thought that they would be in the top 3 this season but it just goes to show how things can change.

Although they had a decent win against Slough NYD. That's not an easy place to win at

If memory serves me right, the Stones are a bit of a bogey team for us. Let's hope we can break the cycle tomorrow, even without Nobes.

We won 4-0 there last season.

They really looked the business when we played them early doors but it appears they are no longer the same team since their budget got culled. Even with Noble out I still think we will get something out of this game. It will also be interesting to see how we will cope without his enthusiasm. Let's hope our management team find the next Jon Wallis, it would be nice to have a central midfielder who can actually put his foot on the ball again.

Hope Bradders is available today, otherwise it looks like we are going to be saddled with Jordan Wynter and someone else out of position in midfield, which isn’t exactly inspiring and that’s if Wynter isn’t standing in for Marko at left back. Charlie and Jampot a must up top IMO.

Take Onyemah, Noble and Sheringham out of the team and the squad really does look stretched. It will be interesting to see who plays in midfield.

A very bold lineup, I didn't see that one coming. Coker & Hayes both starting, this could be interesting.
