Now I know why Raheem Sterling was late joining the rest of the England squad this week. He was getting a tattoo of Tom Daley on his left leg.

What are the predictions on this England squad's chances for the World Cup?
Personally I think France look a good bet. Not that I bet.
Once Russia are out, what chance the supporters UP their game?
So many questions, but I do think England will do well to reach the last eight. But then, hasn't the format changed. Who knows? Who cares?
Maybe if we get to the last eight I might take an interest, as long as it's not against the Bloody Germans. Or for that matter, any other team in the last eight.

This is probably the first time in my lifetime that we're going into a tournament and two weeks before it starts we hadn't got a first choice goalkeeper. A few years ago the decision was between who was best, Clemence or Shilton? Now the choice is between the least inconsistent.

Pickford seems to be getting the nod. What's with Young playing at where he's at when he favours his right. The times he got around the back against Nigeria only to cut back.

Thought that Delph looked quite good but do not expect him to see any more games.
