One of these days the match thread is going to come after the match, making score and attendance predictions much easier.

No Murphy (loan), Bradbrook (unavailable) or Bonner (hamstring) for this. There could potentially be quite a few familiar faces tomorrow as on the books at Eastbourne are ex-Darts Tom Gardiner, Marvin Hamilton and Dave Martin alongside non-league stalwarts Ian Simpemba, Yemi Odubade and captain Sergio Torres who I first remember playing against Dartford for Crawley Town in the trophy.

With the recent upturn in league form, I'm less fussed about this than I would have been a month ago but it's been a while since we made our mark on the Trophy. I wonder what extreme weather conditions will greet us at Priory Lane this time?

Yeah we have had some extreme weather there but looking forward to it and would be nice to have a good Trophy run.

Unfortunate that Elliot will not be able to deputise for Tom Bonner.

Is Elliot banned then?

No, just "rested" as per his agreement with the club to spare him some matches for family/work reasons.

I thought that all the games he was missing had finished?

It will be interesting to see the team sheet- I reckon we only have thirteen players available, including the reserve goalkeeper!

If Andy Pugh is named as a sub. we will know we are short of players. Good to see his recovery is going well.
