Am I correct in thinking that Marcus Bettinelli will be the first former Dart to play in the Premiership next season? A great achievement and a future England keeper.

Plus he was only ever on loan. Does that count??

Are you talking specifically about the Premier League or does the old first division count? If it does then Marcus isn't even the first goalkeeper as we had Peter Hucker who was at QPR when they were in the top flight and actually finished as the top London club. He was actually voted MOTM in the FA Cup final too.

I was thinking specifically about the Premier League, but great shout re Hucker. Although Marcus was only on loan his career stats will always show time with us at Princes Park so that’s good enough for me!
