The timing could not be worse for us but he has been a great servant for the club and I wish him all the very best for the future. You could tell he was visibly upset at the end as he came over and thanked the fans at the end of the game. He will be missed.

Agree with previous posts , special credit goes to him for his attitude after he was dropped last season as he didnt sulk ,worked hard in the close season and convinced the new Managers that he was their No1 and has done great for us so far this season

I hope he does great at Charlton and is the start of a long career in League football

Sad to see him go. Would anyone have Berti back? Was class for us last season and he’s been dropped at Woking. I’d have him back

WOW they must have some fantastic other keeper if Berti was dropped :o

Good luck Deren - loyal and true Dart. Thought he came of age in our last season in the Premier and, as others said, dealt with being dropped last season in a professional way. Always welcome back to PP in whatever capacity in the future.
