According to Kent Today they are in serious financial trouble.
I have no love for this lot but I don't want to see them go under!

I can't believe it, a big money backer comes in and after a few years they are in financial trouble.
Who expected that................
I guess this means Paramount Park or whatever the latest name was is now a definite non starter.

I cannot believe this, in financial trouble when they run their own catering, doesn't seem possible

. To be serious its the long term loyal supporters you have to feel sorry for, they must have hoped this type of situation was a thing of the past. Apparently wages have been paid late 7 times out of the last 10 months, and the start of pre-season training was delayed by 4 days until wages were in the players banks. .

Usually with these rich sugar daddy's the football club is a new toy that they initially love and play with until such time as they get bored and discard the toy for something new. In Ebbsfleet's case though, I doubt the guy ever really loved the toy in the first place, the whole charade was just a sweetener to the local community, piggy-backed on to the Paramount Park project. Now that looks to be dead in the water I guess there is no reason to pretend any longer.
I know we are rivals and all that and I admit I would be delighted to see them relegated (along with Dover and Maidstone), but I genuinely hope their club survives this. The local rivalries are the best and we need them all to be around so we can enjoy that rivalry. There is nothing sweeter than beating your rivals and finishing above them.

After investing millions in Ebbsfleet FC I can't see the Kuwaitis simply walking away but I can see them reining in their financial input in the hope the Football club can be more self-sufficient. The building of that monstrosity of a new stand hasn't helped them much apart from destroying the atmosphere that was generated by their faithful supporters in the old Liam Daish stand. It all seems tied into the Theme Park will it ever be built? I'm sure the vast majority of Dartford supporters wish our neighbours luck because of what happened in our history and there is simply nothing more satisfying than Dartford giving Ebbsfleet/Gravesend & Northfleet FC a bloody good hiding on the pitch.

No one should wish ill on any club, no matter if you love them or loathe them. I hope they get sorted, but obviously not all is well.
Their supporters probably loving our situation immensely while something wicked is coming up behind to bite their ass.

It’s the loyal supporters that i feel for. Rivalry apart I hope they come out of this a sustainable club that we can renew our on pitch rivalry with at some point.
