Probably couldn't cope with a new player every week alongside him.

Re: Manager's challenge to Vint
“He came off it for a few weeks and we need Ronnie to be at it every week. If he’s at it every week, he’s a very good defender.stevetervet wrote:https://www.kentonline.co.uk/dartford/s ... ie-191702/
“He’s someone who could potentially go on to even bigger things but when he’s not at it, he looks average and we want players to be playing at the top end.
“If he’s not doing it, we’re going to have to make hard calls and leave him out of the team.
Why pick on Ronny? There's lots of other playes in the team you could say the same of.

Well, that will give him confidence. No offence to the managers but he is far better player that both have ever been.
Talk about a kick in the private's!

Must say I don’t always agree with the managers comments but I agree with this.
Ronnie is talented no doubt, one for the long term no doubt and he may even play at a higher level.
But he has had more than a few poor games, distribution all over the place, out of position and losing headers regularly in some games.
But this said he has shown he has the talent and for me he just needs to be more consistent and as he’s young I’ve no doubt he will be.
A favourite of mine but it must be recognised if he’s not on his game, it does happen.
As he’s one of our own so to speak it’s easy to sway opinions to your own and maybe that’s happening as some think he’s been good all the time. No he hasn’t.
Definitely got a bright future and a real talent and I hope he stays with us a long time until he moves on to a higher level in the future.
It must also help playing along side Tom B. Let’s be honest he’s the master and class act. Maybe Ronnie can be better than Tom if he keeps his consistency at a high level.
