First half we were well below par and just never got going, we didn't give our forwards a single opportunity all half.

Kingy again made positive substitutions but before we had a chance to see their impact we were 2 down after a mistake led to their second goal.
Took us another 10 mins or so to regroup but then we took control and looked dangerous every time we went forward and deservedly got ourselves on level terms. A great response from the lads after probably the worst 60 mins we have played all season.
Perhaps we can now all put penaltygate behind us :)

Pleased for Ethan to make amends with his crucial save in the pens, Connor was steady again and TB another captains performance.
MOTM however another easy decision, Jacob.

Had one issue on 26 mins where stream froze for a couple of seconds, other than that it was probably the best i've had all season.
Commentator was good and thought their "Love Actually" intro was very good.

Presumably Barnet didnt want Alfie Pavey cup tied hence his no show also no sign of Chris Dickson and as far as I can see he didnt play at Tonbridge tonight - any ideas ???
Lots of charactor to win tonight but we really are NOT at the levels of last season which must be a concern for Kingy although I have no doubt he will get it sorted
Jacob certainly producing the goods[ goals] thank goodness !!!!!!!!!

I thought from 60 mins onwards, we were on control. Braham Barratt looked far more comfortable at left back rather than right back and was getting into forward positions far more often. JBA was the obvious MoM in both halves, but again Tom Bonner was immense at the back and Josh Hill supported well too for his first competitive game. Just why we couldn't play in the first half like we did in the 2nd half, I just don't know. Excellent battling from 2-0 down and from also being behind in the penalty shootout too.

At least there is another game to watch on Saturday!!

I would just put it down to no more than having a very good squad.

Of course it would be nice to be playing fine free flowing football from the start but that don't happen at our level. One thing the doubters must learn, you never give up on a team managed by Kingy. He may not have got the best selection/formation from the start, but so many times through his managerial career, (Lewes, Whitehawk and Welling) he has adjusted to a winning formula before the 90+ minutes are up? Ok, so tonight was only a draw at full time but that still represented a great comeback. I can't believe the "concentrate on the league" no gooders, just get out there, attempt to win every game and reap the rewards of success. Roll on Saturday v Haringey at PP and hopefully a bonus £4500 to add to tonights £3750. In Kingy we trust - COYD

Bring on Haringay!
Mikey, have you tried feeding the meter before kick-off?

A better second half but up until about the 60 minute mark it wasn’t much better, as soon as Jacob pulled one goal back we seemed to liven up a bit but only really looked better and more dangerous once we changed to 4-3-3 and bakayoko came on and levelled at 2-2.
Some excellent penalties by us and a good save by Wady to win us the game.

Now on to our home game Vs Haringay Borough on Saturday in the next round.
