Not looking forward to next season myself the way the 2nd half of this season has gone. Bradders retiring who has been a key source of our goalscoring this season. We don't have anything up front or out wide to go forward with (unless Pugh can come back strong but we can't rely on just him) , and how we're going to attract players I do not know.

Big changes required if we're going to get anything out of next season.

Ozymandias you take a shot. So your not going Monday. Don't come on here calling yourself a fan. Supporters support so the best thing I can suggest if you can't be bothered going Monday then don't come back at all.

For the record I am absolutely gutted. I've just watched the 16s make a tournament final here in Spain and the 15s compete to a fantastic level against all the odds. So shite from you Ozymandias is nonsense. 5 or 6 weeks ago I believe that we had a moment in a game to move into 3rd place. Since then it's all gone horribly wrong. I along with you all dont know the reason but something is not right. Know one knows how sad I do feel about it tonight. I'm balancing it by obviously saying it's only football but it hurts and it hurts me as much as anybody so don't start digging me out. I'm gutted Ok

So sad to see so much upset. Losing 6-0 is unacceptable and it is time the whole club took a bloody good look at itself. Since doing the double over Woking we have fallen tamely away. Where's the leadership?

Can anyone explain why we didn't have any strikers on the park today? Any credible answers will be awarded with a pint of bitter in Eastbourne Weatherspoons.

Kentish Football covered the match today, so there will be a full & detailed report online tomorrow. I might save it up to read after watching the video highlights, it's good for the soul to suffer now and again.

Locals would understand if he was clothed in blue and white with that Espanyol crowd across town, but this guy, they say is English and keeps muttering Up the Darts, or words to that effect. And something about 'play-offs, we can still do it'.
But it sounds like we were trounced.
As much as I'd like to say my goodbyes to Elliot on Monday, I think my Summer break has just started early. Still, there's always next season. :(
Up the Darts
Saying the goodbye to Elliot he so richly deserves IS the reason for going Monday.

After my first ever game when we lost 8-2 to Bristol city in November 1961 (?), I remember seeing us lose 6-0 away to Wycombe Wanderers on their old sloping pitch covered in snow in a cup match, and 6-0 away to Histon when they had money to burn. Apart from a few cup upsets to lower teams, I can't remember anything worse or more humiliating than today.

Explanations needed.

PS. I composed a post earlier when 3-0 down; couldn't believe it was 6 by the time I was ready to post; nothing extra to add by then! Better luck next week eh?

Just got home from one of the poorest displays i can recall seeing from a Dartford side so will try and just comment on that and leave all the other stuff for another time/thread.
I accept we have quite a few injuries at the moment and this may be used as an excuse but not for me, not on that performance. The starting 11 was still all first team squad players that Adam and Jamie have assembled but there was no spirit, fight or togetherness, something just didn't feel right.
Playing Louis in goal at this stage of the season was a massive gamble and i can only assume it was due to Baileys error last week so who plays Monday after Louis error today?
Ronnie Vint wasn't fit last week and all the talk before the game was he wasn't fit this week either so why did we play him, especially as he got subbed at HT?
Joe Healey played as a No. 10, wasn't sure this was his normal position and although i am grateful he has come in and helped out why are Dartford Football Club in a position where we need one of the managers mates to help out? Have we really got that desperate?
Andre Coker up front alongside Joe was never going to work so couldn't understand why we didn't start with Jordan at the back and Murphy up front with Joe alongside Nobes in midfield. IMO tactically we mad another real pigs ear of it.

There were quite a few Dartford supporters there today but sadly the team never gave them anything to cheer about, i can''t recall a single notable effort all game. A total embarrassment today and the previous weeks haven't been much better.

MOTM,i haven't got a bloody clue........
