Reggie Says
Well its like this Mr B. About £12 but the top of the range about £70. Reg spent a week when he worked at Unwins at their chateau in Bordeaux and the best bottle he had was this Australian. I promise to refund any purchase you or Mrs B make on this. It is top top drawer. Ive started to clean my teeth with it now such is my addiction to it. Seriously Trevor treat yourself to a bottle, you will love it and as promised if you dont, Reggie will refund you.

(P.S an empty bottle isnt a reflection of not enjoying it by the way)
Thanks Reggie you can't say fairer than that I will definitely give it a go

Not a former player, but Manager Doug Holden has died aged 90 years old
He was only manager for one season 1972-73 and was signing quality players in the 1973 off season when the club sacked him for reasons unknown to me, and Ernie Morgan was available after walking out on Maidstone so he returned to the club to lead them to the southern league title on the back of Doug Holdens signings.

From what I remember at the time it was rumoured that Doug held some religious views that did not go well with some of the people running the club. But the fact remains he was the person who had the contacts to assemble most of the players for the 73/74 Championship and Wembley team.

Whatever reasons the club sacked him for, obviously taking on Ernie was a no-brainer, probably out of a job and everyone's favourite. It worked whatever. Personally I thought signing someone like Graham Carr wouldn't have crossed Ernie's mind in the Summer pre-season.
RIP Doug, maybe the best manager we almost had. No offence to others, well, maybe Biddle.
That reminds me of when I first saw Graham Carr at Darenth Park Hospital pre-season training. I thought What???? Just shows you how wrong you can be.

Very poor on the clubs part that they haven't even put Doug Holdens passing onto the club website

I totally agree with "Happy Chappy" about this. This has been mentioned many times before on the forum but the club website should be the first place to go to for news and information about Dartford FC. The club website is very poorly maintained and whoever looks after the media side of things at the club seems to be of the opinion that everyone has social media accounts (ie. Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc) so keeping the website updated doesn't matter but that is far from true. I personally know some Dartford supporters who do not use social media at all and only get information and updates about the club from the official website (when they can be bothered to update it) or the forum.

If anyone who uses the forum has a connection to the person(s) who look after the media side of things at the club would you please have a word in their ear.
