Well we cannot say it is boring. Perhaps we could get a few players in on loan to sort it out? :D . I'm in the half glass full camp, rose tinted glasses and ever optimistic so hopefully it will turn out for the best. But I still cannot get used to two managers, TB would obviously take advice from Paul Sawyer and Steve Moseley, but it was his decision that was final right or wrong. How is a final decision made at present? I don't doubt Adam and Jamie are working hard to improve things , but how is the deadlock broken if they disagree?
Still nothing that a long winning run will not put right, see optimistic.

I still don't get where people are coming from when they say last year was a complete shambles and change was needed? Dartford are a sixth division team, how many times in their hundred plus year history has it been fifth division or above? Last year they scored comfortably more goals than anyone in the league and no team won more games or got more points, they even had a good cup run and only a soppy league rule and a fix meant they didn't go up. Look at the history, last year was very good - if you live another quarter of a century you'll be able to count on one hand better seasons I sadly suspect, maybe one finger - it won't get any easier either. Madness, utter madness. We get what we deserve, as a whole, the minority have made sure of that.
Some of this I agree with but other parts I question and some of it must be down to your age or length of time supporting The Darts.
I know of very few supporters that said last year was a shambles in fact I thought it was very good right up to the last few minutes of the season when automatic promotion was snatched away from us.
What many supporters questioned was some of the decisions made by Tony during the season and some stated that they felt it was time for him to go which is what happened.
This season the fans are commenting about the games the management and players performances and offering their own opinions which makes for interesting reading, but to suggest we get what we deserve is just your opinion because who knows we could have been in exactly the same situation under Tony who's to say.
I didn't bother to count how many times we have been a fifth division team in 100+ years as it appears you don't go back to the good old days of Southern League football which was the 5th league
and whilst I might not live for another 25 seasons I certainly look forward to better seasons than the last one maybe this one or hopefully several more in the years to come.

Is it me or does the fact that Lee Noble missing the game have any bearing on the performance

Well, how times change. Today’s game was tantamount to a training session with 22 hopefuls chasing a bag of wind before about 90 spectators.
The most flattering thing I can say is that Ryno put a decent corner in for Marko to head home. It was an incredibly strange atmosphere and not really in the twee sense. I think we are far enough through the season now to make statements about this squad being mediocre and uninspiring. Not something I have known before in supporting the Darts. Sorry to say that Charlie Sheringham doesn’t appear to be able to jump more than three inches off the ground.

Bit of a bastard, all told.

Who's Marko??

Well said Trevor B. As said I do believe Marmite's record is stuck. That's about the 3rd time he's come up with that gripe.

My mistake, I thought it was Marko who scored but it seems Kuduso got it.

Ours. They haven't got one.

Well said Trevor B. This rather odd and ongoing thing that the fans seemingly drove TB out and are therefore to blame for whatever ails us is getting irritating. TB left of his own accord, having done some great work. He made some odd decisions on occasion, and the most recent relegation from the National league he seemed to lose interest, but I think nearly all the fans would look back on his run as manager as very very good - we were punching way over our weight with professional teams, and he got us there, and we came close to going back last season.

Now we are in a different situation, and starting over with a new management team. Because they are the Dartford managers does not exclude them from criticism on a forum, and their appointment and team selection has little or nothing to do with the fans except that like the fans, they are going to put out what they hope is the best team possible to get a decent result.

Yes, I think TB's shoulders were a lot broader than to let a few people on here and around the ground get to him.
I am a staunch TB supporter but even I felt the time was right for him to step aside and said it on here, but I don't feel it was because of what I said that made him do it.
The guys a legend and always will be.
