For Christ's sake Reg. Wake up. When did we ever have control of the game. Far too many errors for that. This performance was inept - lacking creativity in md field and the ability to put together the simplest of passing movements. This was a shadow of the team we had at the end of last season. How many shots did we have on goal throughout the game? The service to the forwards was non existent. I'm not itching to criticise - I seldom do. But this was just not good enough. I know I'll get flack for this, but it's just the way I see things this season.
The first half they didn't or didn't want to cross the half way line. I said it was a disappointing 2nd half performance. But "The Don" the point i tried to make was next week when we win everyone will be saying "brilliant this and brilliant that" its called being fickle. I will say again look at the picture as a whole. Not a constant, this one week when we win, and this one week when we lose. He has assembled a brilliant team and squad and I reckon I just reckon he might know a little more about it than certainly I and maybe some on here. Just maybe. We are second in the league going great guns. Steve knows where he has to improve things and he will. Its that simple. Why all the football managers out there say this and that. Ok a forum yes yes yes I get that. But the best thing I say to anyone is go and manage say a Sunday league side and work your way up the pyramid. Oh no we can't do that because well we're not football managers are we.
As for a Snowflake coor blimey you don't know the half of it. But what you should know is what you have got right before your own eyes. They don't lie you know. Dont doubt this fellas ideas or decisions believe me will gazump us all.

Reg , IF you feel you need to comment[ or disagree ] on Hants Darts post then fair enough BUT he was talking about today game when we were dire and If you dont agree with that then you are in the minority [ IF any] of Darts fans who would agree with Hants Darts [ and others ] comments
At no point has he [ or many other posts ] criticised Steve King as its appreciated that we are 2nd in the League despite NOT reaching the levels that Steve King himself wants !!
I bet Steve King is scratching his head [ and NOT sleeping too well ] as to WHY we were poor today and no doubt we will see a reaction that we will all be delighted to see
I dont know whether Steve reads the forum but would probably be a bit embarassed by your display of love !!!!!!!

Dukey, my comments on todays game were, we took on a team in the first half who didn't or didn't want to cross the halfway line. And in the 2nd half we were disappointing. What is wrong with that factually or as an opinion ? I never once said the comments I read were from HantsDarts. I said they are from many who either praise Steve King one week and then question him the next week and that I think that is pointless. Stand back take a rain check. Thats football it happens. As for a display of love then Amen.

So we fluff our lines in an important competition and miss out again on vital funds. Well alarm bells are ringing, as we are beginning to be inconsistent. Don’t like the tinker man label but agree with the Don, signing a player and he starts ahead of others who have been patient.
Hoping for us to now buckle down and win those games over Christmas which will go a long way to help us forget that we under achieved in both major cup completions, both home games too.
So disappointed after yesterday, other factors have made the mood worse......

Dave T, page 7, started with it with ' I am confident that SK is the man for the job'. Why? Is there any question of that? Yesterdays game has nothing to do with Steve's ability. I am very happy with him. But of course as soon as it is mentioned we have Reggie in the pulpit spouting off the same old thing, AGAIN. No offence Reg, I'm sure you'll take it.
I think that Steve was totally let down by the team yesterday. I get that Haringey beat Eastbourne in the previous round and this is no offence to Haringey, but they were awful and were there for the beating. We were so poor in all departments. And for some people who doubt Jack Jebb's importance to the team is beyond me. He free's up Jacob and Noor (where was he yesterday?) to do their thing. As soon as Jack went off Jacob disappeared from the game.
As said earlier, Wynter just scraped it for me in an otherwise shitty game. Can I claim my money back?
I'm sure we'll bounce back as always after a defeat but blimey that was poor.

Also I wish we had someone who can cross a decent ball.
Happy Christmas everyone. If you can

Reggie Baby I think you are doing a lot of supporters an injustice here. I guarantee there will be posters who have either played at a very good level or managed at different steps of the pyramid including Sunday morning football. In addition a lot of our fans will know the game inside out after years and years of following all levels of football. I'm not saying any of us are in Steve's league but let's not try to patronise the Darts faithful. I don't think anybody is saying King isn't the right man but I'm certain some of the football we've seen just isn't good enough.
Let's hope we string a few good results together over Xmas. COYDs.

Mr Osmosis, no offence taken and yes Reggie has Rhino skin. Its just comments (and its not a dig at anybody, I havent looked at who wrote them) like,
"I dont know how Kingy can bring new players in every week and chuck them straight in"
And " i know Kingy likes Tinkering" that make be surprised. Hypothetically if we bought Christiano Ronaldo (yes I know) would you not put him straight in the side. I thought Nassim l'ghoul was the best player out there yesterday so as for tinkering I dont understand. It seems simple to me. We lose and everyone finds some sort of fault, we win and everything in the garden is rosy. Hey yes im always supportive of the person/s in charge you know that, but these things happen. Its football. Goodness me how many teams from the top down have lost to lower teams after not playing at their best. So from my angle I think rather than go on about whats happened in 1 or 2 reversals we should look at where we currently are as a club. And that's flying in the league. Flying

I wish we were flying- last 7 league games - LWWLWWL - that's doing OK not flying and certainly not what we should have been achieving in my book.
Yes we have the right manager and we have some very good players but we are stuttering not flying.

All this doom and gloom is unhealthy. I get that there’s much disappointment, and even justifiable criticism, after yesterday’s defeat, but the season is young and we are where we are through some excellent results and some good football.
We’re not that far from being a serious challenger for the title tbh, and I know that’s what other managers in our league think. What we lack is a little consistency (yes, that may have been affected by rotation of our starting line-ups) and a player (or two) capable of scoring 10-15 goals for us in our remaining league games. I’m 150% confident SK will get this right.
Questions from yesterday -
1. Where was Noor Husin (I guess he was either carrying a knock or was rested)
2. Why bring L’Ghoul off (unless he was blowing out of his rear end due to a lack of games). I might have put Ky on for one of the strikers and played L’Ghoul through the middle.
Big game Boxing Day. Happy Christmas everyone.
