The posts on here tonight are priceless.
Up the Darts im sorry mate but your worth on here is nothing more than to find fault. "Oh oh oh you know a play off is the best we can hope for"
"Get Darren McQueen back"
Other quotes." Dont know why we've got Alfie Pavey back i didnt think much of him last time. " I dont know but we must have had 2 Alfie Paveys then, one was useless and one got 20 plus goals that season.
Is this team going to be as good as Peter Taylors. Whats that got to do with anything currently.
For christ Sake. Nine games played. Nine !!!! Not one person at least, i don't think so, has come on and said all along what we all know and what Steve King repeatedly tells us.
Its a tough league. Not one person has said how decent St Albans were. Organised. Tricky opponents, and the most important stat UNBEATEN .
No its "right thats it we didn't win" im going on the forum to tell them where its all going wrong." I will tell them what to do"
Steve king will do what he does best. Sit down and analyse where things can be done better. There is a huge amount of knee jerk reaction time and time again on here. And that's my idea of putting it mildly.

We fluffed our lines frustratingly. St Albans are a very good side, well coached and took advantage of us, we did miss gilt edged chances, and don't get me started on our penalties!
No need to panic but we are not quite there, but we were spoilt with that amazing run to the play off final last season.
Its simple, we lost and i am down about it, but far from panicking, we are normally good at bouncing back.
Our team need to move on quickly.
Well done to the fans for being honest and from the slightly broken heart.

I’m all for fans venting frustration and you pay your money you have your view, this is a fans forum but how the doom merchants come out after every defeat, is getting dull now. When u read other fans forums who are struggling or getting poor results and how they still are positive, I bet Kingie wishes he could transfer some fans in from there and transfer the glass half empty from here out!I know on forums you get ex players, irate parents who don’t understand why there little boys not playing etc, so I hope it’s there comments as if it’s from fans, it’s going to be a long season hearing this dribble every time we don’t get three points

I will leave it to Kingy to sort out.
We are all entitled to our opinions and we should not have lost but there are 30+ games to go.
As park life would say.
KEEP THE FAITH!!

Oh Reggie Baby, please, come on read the posts. I don't think anybody has gone too overboard here. Take off your rose tinted spectacles and try to be honest with yourself. At best,
currently we are play off material. My point about the Taylor days was whether the glory days are on their way back with the excitement Peter Taylor brought with it. I think the glory days may be on the horizon but the style of play and the players we have are not getting me on the edge of my seat like those glory days....yet. I am keen to hear Kingy's thoughts - if he is being honest he will say we were second best over the 90 minutes. We are entitled to air our views, we have all watched the game and unfortunately/fortunately all see it differently. If fans want to come on and say how unlucky we were, good luck to them - that's their opinion but please stop ramming your view down everyone's laptop screens. We are not playing very well. We are, however, in a great position which is the sign of a good side considering we aren't playing
consistently well. Let's hope we can build on the foundations and push on.

So Don we don’t look like pissing the leauge , we just play offs ? So who looks like pissing it? Dorking who drew at home to near bottom dulwich? Eebsfleet who can’t buy a goal? Havant who we have beaten ?only team that looks impressive is yep St Albans ! There will be no runaway winners this year, anyone can beat anyone, but with start we had we in the pack and I’m delighted with that

Lots of disappointed fans, but let’s not be downhearted or over-critical of the result. 100% certain Kingy will get it right for Slough on Saturday. Can’t believe nobody’s even mentioned Hungerford so far this season. They’ll be tough Saturday week, especially on their ski slope of a pitch lol. Keep the faith guys, it’s a race not a sprint!

Echo the points made in defence of Pavey. TB benched him for - I think - Danny Mills (not 100% sure) in a decision which arguably cost us the 2017/18 title as H&W scooped it by just a few goals. Alfie had been rifling them in that season - including the worldy at PVR on Boxing Day - and was always going to find a club higher up when we failed to gain promotion.
Quite how anyone can say he isn’t all that is beyond me.
