A very disappointing game to end a very disappointing season, we were ok first half but poor second half. I'm surprised Tom Murphy didn't get a start but if the truth be told Oxford looked the better footballing side. Lee Noble played with his usual passion and effort but it needs more than one man to make this team winners. I doubt very much if dual management will work for us. MOM the Dartford faithful who travelled in numbers but were again let down. See you in August.

Yet another crap game to herald the least enjoyable season of watching DFC in twelve years. I find it no surprise at all that this coincides with the first season without TB. Just had a look back over the recent archived match threads to see when my last MOTM vote was - Gloucester City at home on March 9th. I usually cast a vote every game but the utter tripe served up simply hasn't warranted it.

Thank god it's all over for a while.

This was supposed to be a transitional season with a view to rebuilding the team. To that end we have achieved absolutely nothing. In fact we finish the season in considerably worse shape than when it started, having fully signed only one credible player in Ben Greenhalgh. The signings were disastrous and the budget was squandered. Some loan players lacked commitment and the decent ones aren't ours to keep. There are rumours of questionable man management skills and that the managers have lost the dressing room and players are unhappy. Bradders is definitely leaving and with morale so low, heaven help us if Bonner, Vint or Nobes should go too. Nice genuine guys that they may well be, on the evidence I have seen, I have absolutely zero confidence that Flanners and Coyley will recruit wisely and I fully expect next season to be considerably worse than this one. If they stay, I reckon the wheels will come off and Arthur's head will explode as the forum go into meltdown somewhere around October. And Artgur, if there's some vital piece of information that I'm missing, that could be discovered simply by "talking to them", then Coyley and Flanners should put this out there in the public domain so that all the supporters can hear it, rather than telling us all individually. This season has been a massive fail for me.

I will still get my season ticket and still support the team home and away, but that is truly what I believe to be coming our way next season.

I understand Spike. I really do. I'm just keen on giving them more time. I was speaking this morning to Park Life and can't disagree with a lot. But deep down we all do love this club and town and will support through thick and thin. I do intend in not letting my head explode though.

He took his time over getting the right players in, that were not only good players but also a good fit for the club. We had 300 fans and not a pot to piss in. I’m sorry there is no parallel in what has happened this season and what happened when TB took over from Tommy Sampson.

After the treatment from many supporters in TB’s last season I am convinced that’s what pushed him into his decision of giving it up. It was a fantastic season one of our best in the league in history but our manager was driven out and I will struggle to forgive those with blood on their hands. Look what you’ve done.
Blood on their hands, do you ever give up? HE QUIT!!! It's the boards bad appointment that you should be questioning. TB is still heavily involved in holding the purse strings for the club. We needed a toatally fresh start, there was not much point in putting the people in that they did because they still have to report to TB. If we are changing things for next year they need to have complete control on their own. If they don't there is little point of changing things and we might as well stay the same.

It's not the fans fault that the summer transfer dealings were terrible. We could see that within the first couple of league games. We've had some 35 players this season. Totally ridiculous. I like others don't have the confidence that the current incumbents have the ability to have a succesful summer transfer market. The squad needs totally overhauling.

My understanding is TB is involved with the academy and a director of the club but does not get involved in the day to day running of the first team. He is there to offer support if that is requested but does anybody believe if he had that much influence we would have released and signed the players we did.
I think it is absolutely crucial that TB remains at the club regardless of who the manager is.

Not a very memorable season, we were never going to struggle but IMO we were never promotion material.
Some good performances but too many mediocre ones.
Top many poor signings at the start of the season who were simply not up to it.
TB was a tough act to follow but I will be watching the comings and goings closely before getting a season ticket.
Quality more than quantity is my message to Adam &Jamie.
A very frustrating and forgettable season for me!

Best in league history. Really?
We came second in a piss poor division with no big teams in. Dropped pavey several thimes , our best player and arguably in the season the leagues best player and replaced him with a misfiring even if very likeable hard working Mills. A lot of the games pavey didn’t start we didn’t win and reality is very probably would have. He was on absolute fire so TB drops him and tells him he’s not a number 1 striker. Remember that?
Where is pavey now?
This went a long way to screwing it up last season and they were TBs decisions alone.

Let me get this straight I wanted change. There is no change here. Therefore TB should of stayed on.
Maybe if TB didn’t read the forum he wouldn’t feel under pressure and maybe if he picks the best players we wouldn’t of thrown the league away, becuase that’s exactly what we did in a very poor division last year.

To say blood on your hands look what you done is hilarious if not sad. If any manager can’t stand the heat get out the kitchen and if you think total failure in a weak league league last season from poor decision making is not going to result in questions being asked then I think your TB / Dartford FC boys club glassed are stuck on your head.

I have no interest in the criticism of TB I’m just reminding a few things.

i meant change i meant someone without dartford connections, someone with fresh ideas and had good
knowledge of this division, the two dartford boys we got in to do the job was a disaster from the start
you had one who did the same thing at welling they got rid of him and now in the play offs and you got
another one who just managed to keep concord up they got rid of him and surprise surprise they got in the
play offs although not aloud to play them.

out of the players only noble, bradders, bonner and vint gave it their all the old dartford players that know how to wear their
shirts with pride,as for the others i would out them.
if we stay with this duo i would still come to watch my club but hopefully they dont destroy everything that this great club is all about.

Tom Murphy never giver less than 100% . Not sure he’s had a great season but his efforts can never be doubted.

Mate did you listen to TBs podcast. He does more than most think. Too much in some opinions. The academy is fine but it’s nit just that.
