I think that you are right - its hard to win customers and can be even harder to keep them so if something disappears for a while it has to go back to scratch to build its customer base. This will apply to DFC just as much as any business. When things open up there will be plenty of alternatives to fill a Saturday afternoon and DFC is going to have to make itself an attractive proposition to grab its share of the market.
It can probably depend on its hard core of support of what, 500? but I think it would be folly to project and create plans built on regular crowds of 1000 plus. Luckily we are blessed with some financially savvy management so I suspect this is unlikely and that a more cautious approach will be taken.
The performance of the team will, of course, help to improve numbers but when peoples conditioned behaviour has had such a readjustment as that caused by the pandemic who can tell what the new normal will be. As someone famously once said 'we live in interesting times'.
Having said all that I can't wait for the new season, unencumbered by restrictions, to start.

Let those who want to play on do so. Split them into 2 groups with the winners of each being promoted. There could be a few ways to decide on the groups, my favoured idea would be Group 1 Dartford, Group 2 All the rest. But I expect there will be some nitpickers out there who will find fault.

Whilst I wouldn’t be averse to some bizarre step 2 unification for those clubs who wish to see out the season, I agree that the vote ought to be final and surely any other resolution is simply too late now.
Lessons should have been learned over the last 12 months in not trying to resume anything too soon, there just isn’t a crowbar big enough for Marc White it seems.

Whilst i understand people saying a vote should be final and i've had enough of all this mucking around the fact was more teams voted to carry on than stop. Thank the useless NL board yet again for more poor management.

The bottom line is that the EFL wont relegate anyone if the NL aren't relegating anyone.
So the NL board now have to keep their "preferred, special, favourite" NL teams happy so don't be surprised if we start up in some form again very soon.

If clubs were unhappy with the voting system you complain before the vote not after you lose the vote.

Spot on. I’d have no direct objection to an extraordinary resolution of 2020/21, but it’s March now and surely even an eighteen team league where each club plays all others just once would jeopardise next season, which surely in the current way of things, stands a reasonable chance of proceeding normally.

I'm at the stage where i'm tired of the whole situation and not really sure what is the best outcome.
But the way the votes are allocated between the 3 divisions is unfair and massively loaded in favour of the NL teams so difficult to object. With the likelihood of no relegation/promotion in the NL i'm pretty sure everything will change again and football will re-commence.

Eighteen games and a couple of play off's could easily be completed between the end of March and the end of June so just get prepared as i have a feeling it could all change again.

Just think about it, why is the NL continuing if there will be no relegation/promotion?
