I did wonder if there had been some connection between these two, maybe a bit of a animosity also. It did carry on a little after also.

Also, as said, Jacob going back to Aldershot will be a big miss for us. Absolutely rated this lad.
Thank you Jacob.

What thread should I put this on ? Not sure. I'm of the belief that we are in the midst of a momentous period in the clubs history. And I mean history. I beg that all fans and the board do not let this opportunity slip us by. Steve King is quite simply, at least, the best non league manager in the business. The board made the move in his appointment which I thank. They are the greatest people anyone could wish and are second to none. From TB and Dave Skinner and the leading goalscorer in the league walking football in Lord Irving we cannot get any better. I love you all as we all do and want to say well..... thank you.
P.s I may get chastised again but flans and Coylie were great people to employ. It's a football journey that we all enjoy and about to enjoy further , but dont forget just how they want us to succeed . Dont forget
Probably deserves its own thread but covered ground. I would say, (and suspect many others also) that C & F should have gone at the end of last season. Just imagine where we would be if we had SK from the start of the season. It does not matter to me whether C & F were 'nice chaps', its a results business.

Please, please explain exactly why they were great people to employ? You say some stupid things at times Reg, Arthur, whatever,.... but really!

Arthur here how dare you talk to.my boy like that. He was only trying to highlight (as I'm sure we are all aware of what a fantastic job that the board do and the fact we are even in existence is down to them) They make decisions and employed F and C and that the boards appointment of them was in good faith and was just part of the DFC journey. Now in my mind we have the greatest man possible to run ANY non league team. My sons point is the great lads on the board took the step to employ Kingy just in the same manner as they undertook previously but in this case i believe the boards decision to employ Steve King shows even more determination in taking us higher than the decision to employ F and C. God we should look after him, give him 2 or 3 years and maybe we could be playing football league we really could.
