The signs were there last week and today they came through. We absolutely blew Concord away in the first half and could easily have been 4 up at the break. The effort and work rate from the lads was superb. Charlie looks a different player and Jordan did a superb job in midfield. However Ryno was the star today, he slaughtered the poor left back who will probably be having nightmares about him for weeks. Great performance, excellent result.

Well done to Tony and the team what a difference today as others have said we could have had 4 or more goals first half and yes the best Ryno performance for several seasons.
I guess he had a point to prove to Concord as apart from the considerable number of crosses that he fired in he also made the space for several of his curling shots which were only just past the post.
The possible third goal was not quite there with only 75% of the ball over the line but two goals were enough and although we were more subdued for most of the second half in the later stages we were back to our best and held on comfortably.
M.O.M. Ryno for me

It would be a shame if this great result and positive thread was hijacked and turned into yet another slanging match.

Quite agree. I wasn’t at the game as I’m in the Algarve but after the start we’ve had let’s just read plenty of positive posts as it sounds like we were worthy winners. Well done to TB, Skip and the team for claiming our first away win for what seems like an eternity.

Any new potential managers spotted at the game?

No, it was meant as a joke as we always seem to concede first.
I'm sorry for "hijacking" the thread but I'm not taking shit from someone for months for voicing my opinion when things have been poor at this club and not biting back - things can work both ways

.
I'm delighted with the 3 points today, and as I said in a previous post I hope this can be a turning point of the season and TB can settle the club down, get us in a good position and then the right manager comes in who will take us forward.
Onwards and upwards.
