Flisher at left back is a big no no. Not his fault as I felt he won a lot of decent balls down that side. But he was constantly beaten for pace by Philpot, a 34 year old. (No offence) and someone I wouldn't mind having at Dartford, just for the fact he had the beating of Alex, who made him look good. The winning goal was scored by their smallest player, with his head.
Once again, Hill is not the greatest at the back. So two out of four ain't bad, and there we were talking how the back four were strong not long ago.
Noble isn't Noble without Bradbrook. Didn't see the sending off offence because he was shielded by the player he was fouling, so can't comment. Wynter clattered the forward in the back, so for me the ref got that right.
Sheringham came alive when Cunnington went off. Not saying Adam had a bad game.
Apart from that, we are going to need a 'major miracle' to stop getting drawn into a relegation fight, and we already have one foot in the door there.
Whether Tony wants this job for a long stint needs to be decided so that he can sort out fitness levels and get the players in that he needs. Or hurry up and make a decision on another manager Pronto.
Because for me Tony is hindered by the legacy left by the Duo.
As a performance rating yesterday was 8/10 but so much work to do.

TB answered a couple of the queries raised by other posters in his post match interview on Radio Kent - he has seen most games this season and he is only standing in till the right man is found.

It is often the case that when a team is struggling at the wrong end of the table, they never get the rub of the green? Never thought at the time it was a sending off, and after watching the highlights my view as still not changed, imo it was a 50-50 ball and maybe a yellow card at most, but the referee was easily influenced by the Dorking players theatrics around him, and the same goes for the penalty, what a shambolic decision, again theatrical diving by their forward and the referee bought it?. I thought that Dorking were a good team and played some very good football , but some of their play-acting was beyond the joke , some of them will not look out of place at the Guildford Theatre this coming pantomime season along with that poor excuse for a referee? But eh! That’s just my opinion.
It was interesting to hear that TB was not impressed with the fitness levels of the players in training which probably accounts for most of our goals being conceded in the last 20 minutes of games, and again yesterday ? But overall it was refreshing to see players giving 100% and even Charlie had one of his best games for a long while, but my MOTM was between Jordan and Ryno , both were exceptional , but I think Ryno just edged it imo . Onwards and upwards ..

The fitness levels is interesting as I’m sure TB used to have the squad do laps around the gold course in preseason. Maybe that’s been the problem - Jamie was more focusing on the tactical coaching and the basics were slipping.

We could argue the rights and wrongs with the free-kick Steve, tbf having watched it live and watched the highlights, I’m of the opinion it was just a great free-kick.
I was sitting that end, Flish pulled their guy back outside the area, who did his very best to get inside the area to fall over. Freekick the right decision.
Smithy wanted 3 in the wall but Ben going down injured changed the dynamics, so made do with 2.
