I know why Ryan is unhappy on Twitter, like many fans behind the goal I see what he does yes he does frustrate. But he delivers more then he misses look at how many goals come from him.

Also the pod cast that Elliot did said over half his goals came from Ryan!

It’s a shame the official stats aren’t available. I reckon out of the goals we have scored with Ryan playing, he has scored or set up between 1/3 and 1/2.

Probably should have been 3/4 eh Kentc? And he should have mowed the pitch before, made the half time teas and washed the kit. Lazy git.

Every year we have the Ryno debate and frankly I've given up trying to explain it to people, if they can't see what he contributes then that's their problem. I've been supporting the Darts for over half a century and Ryan Hayes is my FAVOURITE player of all time. I'm not saying he's the best, he has flaws just like every other player at this level, but he is my personal favourite. I'm not going to bother explaining why as I hope most people wouldn't need an explanation and I fear it would be lost on those that do. Ryno's contribution over the years has been massive and this is surely appreciated by most Darts' fans, but for some reason, his popularity really seems to irk a handful of posters who just keep reposting the same old nonsense over and over again, presumably in the hope that one day it will make some sort of sense. It never will.

"A little over the top ,don,t you think"? Yes Tom Bonner is a good Centre Back ,but he hardly comes into that category status of "Legend"? "not yet anyway".

Funny how things work.
Ryno is considered a legend yet he’s absolutely useless and contributed very little to the team last season other than watching the game go by him and passing the ball to the opposition as all he can do is cross the ball and nothing else. There are plenty of players who could stand out wide not do too much, not strain yourself or run much and whip in a few crosses.
Yet Ryno is considered a legend by some.

Yet Tom Bonnor who could be the best defender in this league is no where near the RH7 status but contributes far more for this club than Ryno does and is vital to us is seen as split opinion even just as a good player.

Before I get the stick for this you know I’m right!

It’s bonkers.
This was never intended to be disrespectful to Tom Bonner, I honestly think Tom is a very good Centre Back at this level .The point I was trying to make is that the word “Legend “used to be reserved only for the special few who truly earned the status. Nowadays, it feels like it's thrown around to anyone who dons a football shirt? And as you have mentioned Ryan Hayes, love him or hate him, he will always be remembered as one of Dartford FCs all-time greats, and on his day he is probably one of the most exciting players ever to play at this level? And before you say it; no I am not a member of the so called RH7 club; Just an opinion of someone who’s been watching the Darts for half a century.

The Darts Fans singing his name” RYNO –RYNO-RYNO- can’t all be wrong? ;)

I feel a Monty Python type "What has the Ryno ever done for us"? debate coming on.

The only reason he’s here is because he is mr popular and his RH7 status.

This club will not move forward until we start signing people on what they perform on the pitch not how popular they are.

Hahahahahaha You can't stand laziness yet your happy with all the other re-signings??? So you actually believe that Charlie Sheringham isn't lazy....Priceless.

Spike; Football is a matter of opinions, you are of course entitled to yours & other fans are entitled to theirs. There are no right & wrongs though, whatever the subject.
One mans ceiling is another mans floor!! This is what makes it the game we all love!!
We all want the Darts to do the best they can on the day, regardless of which XI are wearing the shirt !!

I get what is said about Ryan and all that, but funnily enough, I agree with Kentc. Ryan is on his last legs and still provides good crosses. His age is against him, surely there must be OTHER wingers out there who can provide good crosses AND run and defend. We've have seen Ryan at his best, but that was three years ago.

Agree RH7 was at his best 3 or 4 years ago, but based on what I have seen he was still our most creative player last year and probably will be the most creative next year.
