Mikey to say Coker as terrible as usual is not nice. He may read that and think you know what that's a supporter. Umm ? You may feel that. But why feel the need to say it in writing. If the boy or any player crosses that whitewash and wear the colours than that is good enough for me. The buck shouldn't stop at that player and we should still give it our all.

For me a game that needs to be moved on.

We was sloppy all over the place and I know that we had some players missing, for me it was the wrong setup we should have gone 4-4-2. It should have been Murphy and McQueen upfront. Then using the wingers of Ryan and Ben I don’t think a five in the midfield worked for us.

We are just in the playoffs, but with Wealdstone and St Albans starting to pull results together we could be in trouble!

Pretty much all of our outfield players were terrible today so my MOTM goes to Bailey Vose who didn't do anything wrong and made a couple of fine saves to prevent us from a 5-1 drubbing. That really is the only positive thing I could think of to say. Weston are rock bottom for a reason, they get beat regularly, and yet they outclassed us today, so it would be hard to argue that this wasn't our worst performance of the season. One month ago making the play-offs looked a formality but the dismal performances in the last few games means we are now in a right old scrap. Too many changes for my liking, some enforced, some not, but it seems to me that we have done a lot better when the round pegs were in the round holes and the very good run we had a few weeks back was built on stability.

Nevertheless, Arthur is right that we are still in 6th place with everything to play for. As awful as it was to watch today, somehow we are still in the driving seat and the players still have a chance to make this a very successful season. One month ago I would have fancied us in all of these last 4 games and we still have the same players so I think it's up to them. All we supporters can do is put today to one side and roar the team on for the remaining games. The fat lady has a few more songs to sing before it's over.

i ve said it could come down to the billericy game for a while now and so it looks like it,should be a great atmosphere with it being on bank holiday monday, still think we will make play offs but it could depend on other results than us doing it the easy way by just winning.

I mean we don't lose 3-1 (3-0 down) by being "unfortunate". They are bottom of the league and we're meant to be a playoff team with promotion aspirations. Absolute joke of a performance as have the last 2 games at Princes Park too.

That’s fair enough. I’ll leave it to those that were there. And it does sound bad yes. Pretty sure you know I’m not the type to sugar coat if we don’t play well i guess I’m just hoping.

You are so right Arty my dear chap. We are sixth in the league with four to play and still with the chance of the play-offs. As said previous, I feel, just to make up the numbers.
But I feel your posts at me were defensive for yourself only. Whereas my post to you was one of 'here we go again'. I feel you have black and white blood running through your clogged veins and in a slight way, admire you for it.
But the Great Lord who is Lord Spikey is one of a few that was there (as was you), and has given a constructive account of the game.
To be 3-0 down at the bottom club tells me a lot, albeit that WSM had nothing to lose and probably came out with a devil may care attitude. We however needed to win, although clubs below us are helping out at times, and we couldn't deliver.
However, having said all that, I AM in full adoration of he who is Spike. In fact it is verging on love. I see him at the ground and only know him from afar (and the fact he has Spike on his shirt) and I must admit only stop following him when he stands behind the goal with you.
Lighten up Arty old chap. I didn't go to the game, what do I know? I only comment on what I have seen over the last few weeks. A team out of salts. ;)

Mr O. No I had to work yesterday so couldn't make it. No problem dear boy. These things happen its football. I think someone posted pre game about some of their recent results. So whilst a defeat against the bottom club is not good it has been happening. From what i am told from supporters who did make the long trip, the performance was indeed poor. But i still feel that a playoff place is still in our own hands and i for one would be happy that DFC are once again challenging at the top of this league.

I never thought this would be a straightforward fixture by any stretch of the imagination. After all, only recently yesterday's opponents were beating the champions elect away from home.

Yes, and a draw against Chelmo shortly after. I’d be surprised if either they or Torquay played as wretchedly as we did yesterday though.
