Sad to see some of our regular posters being so negative
But it is understandable and I have to agree.
The biggest problem is our lack of firepower
I Think that We are in for a long hard season looking
Over our shoulders.
This is the worst squad we have had for ten years of more
I hate saying this but today was awful and there is little to
Get excited about.
Imo...too many below average players for this level of football!

Not very often I feel for an opposing side, but I thought WSM deserved at least a point yesterday. Yes their one goal was soft with Deren seemingly falling as the ball went in but they had more clear cut chances than us, pushed the ball around better and looked more of a unit I don't expect them to be bottom very long. Still it is three points but why does it feel like we lost?

Nobes obviously MoM with Elliot close behind - thank goodness for the old guard.

Much as I hate to disagree with Mikey, I'm pretty sure it was OK. If you freeze KSTDart's video as the shot pans round, you will see that the WSM player in the right-hand corner of their penalty box doesn't move out with the others - he is more concerned with holding off the Darts player near him (Bonner?). So, whether or not the other defenders got their timing right to move out (questionable), he is playing all the Darts forwards onside at the time that the free-kick was taken. WSM tried the same ploy to a Darts free-kick in the first half - it worked for them that time as the free-kick was slightly overhit and the keeper was able to collect quite easily. Maybe that was noted by the Darts players or management and they worked out a ploy at half-time to combat it?

Our second goal looks offside .
Maybe one of our opponents players were playing
Philpot onside but out of camera shot.

I thought I saw only one WSM player raise his hand appealing for offside...

I watched the match from the side yesterday, this will happen once a season or so (used to be more frequently in the conference premier out of necessity at some of the away grounds). It always makes me wonder why so many of us insist on getting behind the goal as one can see the game so much better! Force of habit I suppose...
Anyway, it didn’t seem to me that we played too badly, but again, perhaps we generally look very good from the touchline? Just to repair to the winning goal again, we were standing bang in line with Philpot and he certainly did seem to be beyond the last defender and in front of the ball as it was played forward to him. However, I’ve been wrong a thousand times before and probably am again here, there is every chance we missed a covering defender playing him on, it's just unusual to have the benefit of seeing it from the sides. I won’t be appealing it either way!

First game for a while and although I saw nothing to write home about I suppose a win's a win.
Have to echo a lot that is already on here. Wynter was playing probably because Stone's wanted him to, probably part of the loan deal. And although I felt he had a fair game, I would have sooner had Ronnie out there.
I thought that Deren slipped when he went down for the shot that led to their equaliser, his back foot slipped. Had it not I felt he would have dealt with it.
Yao, played well for the first ten minutes and then reverted to kicking any attacking forward that got close, thus conceding quite a few free-kicks. Bonner again picks up a stupid booking, I wish he would lead by example. Too many Dartford players stand around moaning at the ref while the game is still going on. Bonner, probably being the biggest culprit.
Elliot looked dead on his feet at the end and Nobe's for me, out on the right?? Waste of time.
Greenhaugh did ok but hardly added to the game and Philpot still lightweight up front and very lucky to have got on the scoresheet.
My MOTM goes to Ba who looked impressive and put himself about, I do hope he didn't get an injury or in other way's ran himself into the ground. Cos I would have been miffed if I was him for being taken off. But then he was probably fed up at that stage for being one of the five that actually tried. Onyemah, Wynter and Bradder's included along with Nobe's.
WSM should feel truly annoyed that they didn't get a point let alone a win, because quite frankly, I thought we were awful.
As for next Saturday in the Cup, City must be rubbing their hands and looking forward to another cup run this season.
Because, if we play like that????

Do you reckon we will beat the record for number of players used in a season achieved during the Halcyon days of Tommy Sampson? That record stands as 1,567 players, we are well on our way. In those days we were totally useless but you could never fault the effort.

If Tommys record gets beaten then I think that grossly unfair as I dont think he was allowed to bring in Loanees although he managed several Geriatrics , much like 4 of the current squad but older !!!!!!!!!!!!

All those people who used to come on post match and complain about Tony and Ryno. Be careful what you wish for.
