Probably the NLS result of the day - followed by Concord beating Dorking.

What a great start to the season with an impressive win against a very good St Albans side.
Steve has assembled a very good squad and i tried to pick the starting 11 today but gave up as it's too difficult with so many good options.

First half we edged it and created quite a few very good chances before Ade put us in front just before HT.
Pick of the bunch for me in the first half was Danny Leonard, caused them all sorts of problems.

Second half they were on top but we defended well and didn't really allow them many decent chances and although we didn't really cause them many problems i always felt that with the quality of players we had that eventually we would create something. However i never thought we would finish as strong as we did and just blow them away in the last 10 - 15 mins. Obvious choice for star man in the second half was Danny Roberts, looked sharp as soon as he came on and turned the game on it's head.

Great support as well today and with the attendance of just over 1000 i would say its not unrealistic to estimate 300-400 Darts fans there.

So whilst Danny Leonard and Danny Roberts were both stand out players in each half, my MOTM goes to Jordan Wynter who i thought was very good for the whole 90 minutes.

I don't envy Steve King because after today team selection for next week has now become even harder, but what a nice problem to have.
