Chelmsford City (H) Saturday 14th March
Re: Chelmsford City (H) Saturday 14th March
Men against boys,3-0 did not reflect the gulf between the teams.
They thumped us 4-0 at their place when the chuckle brothers were our managers but this super team under
the king was far to strong for the Chelmo's.
If we had started the season with this squad ....who knows?
An absolute pleasure today to watch us demolish our opponents!

Great result and, as others have said, we could easily have hat 6 or more. Great performances all round and I went with G B-B as MoM. Hopefully the season will not get interrupted and we can press on up the play off places.

Great win and great performance today! I thought we’d have our work cut out with their keeper but goals ended up coming very easily. Chelmsford’s multitude of fouls looked to be more down to poor discipline rather than malice: shows with how they defended the second goal. Their best spell was just after the restart... lasted about three minutes.
Whole team were on top form but Billy Crook gets my MoTM vote: controlled midfield before he went off. Hopefully he won’t be out for long!
Great atmosphere again. The young lads behind the goal bring a lot of energy which is good to see. Really stupid of one to throw a bottle at their keeper but doubt they’ll do it again after the bollocking they got from those nearby. Only dampener on an otherwise top afternoon!
Two even bigger games coming up now! (Providing they don’t get postponed) Six points let’s do it!

But what a great game to watch. The fluency, the pace, the effort, that was up there with anything I have ever witnessed. Every single player, Every single player !!!!! Bonz and Josh, well if there are two better centre half pairings in this league then I'm a dutchman. Smithy has waited his turn and done well. CBB the best hes played for DFC. Jordan slots in, Jack you can see is decent, Noor well, a total player. The front 3 a machine, here there and everywhere. As for Billy Crook, he is my favourite Dart, largely because he came back if you remember for the Kingstonian game when we were short. Unfit but now hes regained fitness and with the quality in front of him has been truly brilliant. Gutted today for him with the injury. Truly I think that guy is a great great player. Kingy this is the best I've seen. Today was absolutely brilliant. Awesome totally awesome. For christ sake let's look after this man. I mean it there can now be no turning back surely. DFc under Steve King = wherever the board wants to take us. COYD it's just the start

The total enjoyment. Total. I cant leave this now. Its football utopia. Let's immaculate Kingy please board. We have a gem that we would have to pay into a vault so others dont get at our possession. Yea it's our possession because of your decision to employ him. This man is totally different gravy, but I know you see that with the football that all the fans see. This could well rank if you go with it, with the Ernies, Couplands,Burman years its within touching distance it's totally within touching distance but please do whatever to ensure that we move quickly. Its that serious. You must enjoy it. For me I'm enjoying every pass. Crooky I'm gutted. That man is an unsung hero
