Mike Perfecf, Spike, Capricorn25 and the Don - well said.
I sincerely hope TB stays at the club for as long as possible, the real club LEGEND.
New Manager Nomination Form
Re: New Manager Nomination Form
PL I totally agree with you all 100%.
If there are any concerns, that I haven’t raised by the way, it’s that I don’t think there is doubt that TB did have influence on the ex managers. I’m sure you listened to his podcast and read Coyle and Flan interviews about TBs role. TB said he was director of football and had final say on transfers, weather that’s the financial side or more than that I don’t remember.
The guy is a real legend, and we use that word too often, and is absolutely right he has a pivitol role at the club but while there is no suggestion what would happen with a new manager I don’t think it’s unfair to say that there was influence before and a new manager with his own ideas and ethos may not like this. And as someone said the new manager should not let it be an issue, I agree, but there might be some concern over what happened before.
I’m not saying I’m 100% right but it’s 100% how it came across.
I do agree with all the points on this made but there maybe an odd concern here or there.

Welcome back TB. What more can you say. A breath of fresh air after the smog of the last year and a bit.
Re: New Manager Nomination Form
Jeez! Well done to the Army of Reason that marched in on that one.
Re: New Manager Nomination Form
I can imaging the board meeting divvying out responsibilities, Tony you do catering , now who can we find to cover the football side?
I have read about the departed duo, asking for T. B.'s advice and that he has control of the footballing budget but only rubber stamping deals in respect of them being affordable. Also it was mentioned that with him being at the ground almost permanently he often dealt with all the paperwork of transfers without the team managers having to be at the ground or involved, but they did the negotiating.

Re: New Manager Nomination Form
TB did not decide which players the managers signed, what formation they played or the tactics employed; that was purely down to the managers themselves. Of course, there was a budget but at the end of the day, Adam and Jamie were solely responsible for the results. That will be the same for whoever is appointed as their replacement. TBs involvement with Dartford FC will, hopefully, continue for many more years. What the club is achieving outside of the first team is exceptional and will only help to improve the first team in the long term.

Re: New Manager Nomination Form
I plead with the club to not gamble with the next appointment. I plead with the club to employ the best manager around outside the football league. I plead with the club to not take an easy option. I plead with the club to employ Steve king
