I hope that J&A get new players in who are a bit better
than the signings in the last close season.
Reasonably happy with the retained list but not convinced
by Charlie ,I know some will disagree but I am just not
impressed,more effort needed imo.
I would rather sign 3 quality players rather than 4/5 players
who are not national south standard.
Tin hat is on!!

Retained/Released players list

Well I could make a joke about us paying money for nothing but I'll rise above it. Oops, too late.Arthur Horsfield wrote:Spike,

Incidentally my favourite band is either Rage or Rammstein depending on my mood. Rage was most prevalent last season, especially on Saturdays.

Re-signing so many, Rambo? At the moment six have actually signed and the club would like two more to do so. That still leaves room for ten to twelve newcomers if the squad is the usual eighteen.

Love a bit of Rammstein driving in the car - Engel at full volume is sweet. I was DJ'ing/waiting in a hard rock bar for a year and they bring back some good memories, along with The Offspring.spike wrote:Well I could make a joke about us paying money for nothing but I'll rise above it. Spike I was coming from the brothers in arms angle in a polite way.

There are potentially 12 to sign again Lincoln and I feel that is too many. It’s sort of rewarding failure. The priority of the managers and Board is to bring in quality players to go with the handful of good players we already have.Lincoln exile wrote:Re-signing so many, Rambo? It’s a big job and I hope A&J are talking to new players now

Funny how things work.
Ryno is considered a legend yet he’s absolutely useless and contributed very little to the team last season other than watching the game go by him and passing the ball to the opposition as all he can do is cross the ball and nothing else. There are plenty of players who could stand out wide not do too much, not strain yourself or run much and whip in a few crosses.
Yet Ryno is considered a legend by some.
Yet Tom Bonnor who could be the best defender in this league is no where near the RH7 status but contributes far more for this club than Ryno does and is vital to us is seen as split opinion even just as a good player.
Before I get the stick for this you know I’m right!
It’s bonkers.
Re: Retained/Released players list
like to understand why Ryno is retained. I hope the managers explain why. The others are a no brainier and really happy to have them. I can’t stand laziness. Not good enough for concord in the playoff places but good enough for us.
The only reason he’s here is because he is mr popular and his RH7 status.
This club will not move forward until we start signing people on what they perform on the pitch not how popular they are.

Oh dear oh dear. This guy. All he does is rip apart anything that’s good. Just look how many goals Ryan sets up. Posts like this only show your ignorance, and discredits any opinion you may choose to view. The facts are, Ryan sets goals up for fun. He’s not a premier league player, not every cross will be spot on and he is not box to box otherwise he would be in the PL. it doesn’t matter that I happen to have a high opinion of Ryan, the FACTS prove we have a far better creative team with him than without.Kentc wrote:like to understand why Ryno is retained.
