how great was it to see the no7 of woking ending with claret on his face,maybe he should just get on playing football instead of diving and whinging to the lino and ref.
still feeling proud of our boys doing the double over them and taking away their unbeaten away record aswell.

One of their assistant managers? I hope it was it Martin Tyler. He’s got previous from his Hampton days. He gave my mate, Spike, a right old look over their place last season. Admittedly it was a case of mistaken identity as it was me that had given Tyler a bit of verbal for holding onto the ball when he was wasting some time. But it was Spike who got the Tyler glare!

It is no surprise Lee raises the ire of opponents, as besides being a very good and tireless footballer in his 'over-enthusiastic' mode he can make rash and dangerous tackles leaving his mark on opponents. I have no doubt that if he had played regularly for Woking against us there would be a few uncomplimentary comments about him on this forum. Likewise had he played Woking their forum would be supporting him, in fact a couple of comments on there say they wished they had someone like him in their midfield. As for Martin Tyler I have often heard him praising players of the same ilk as Lee, with the usual comment along the lines 'that 'every team needs a player like that.' The reality is that Lee's playing style is one admired and appreciated by his team's supporters, detested by opponents with the proviso that they wouldn't mind him in their side. The Woking forum has even come up with highlights from 2012 to show what an utter scoundrel he his, but the strangest post is about hoping the teams meet again in the play-offs so that the Cards can stuff him. I would have thought trying to win the title would be a better option than a bit of petty revenge.
The collision that led to them being down to ten men is on the Woking highlights, it is difficult to tell what really happened, but I suppose the sight of blood stirred up his team mates and staff. Anyway I hope the injured party is ok and suffered no lasting damage.

He may be hard and tough but he has bundles of quality and doesn’t need the theatrics his opponents make on him trying to get him booked or sent off.

And anyone who went to Slough will recall that tackle on Nobes that could easily have been a red but the offender got off with a booking. Lee may dish it out but he gets plenty back in return. I call it getting your retaliation in first!
