Great to snatch a result from that lot after the poxy game on Boxing Day. They won't have enjoyed Xmas, having taken just the three points from that game.
The more I see of Phil Roberts, the more I'm scratching my head. Cannot see what he brings to the table at all. Gave my vote to Dan Johnson, who conversely looks better with each game.

Johnson's definately better on the left flank than the right!! (Might have something to do with the fact he's left footed?)

Back four were excellent throughout, albeit, last ditch defending. Bailey saved a couple too, but overall I thought that Welling were pretty ordinary so we must have given a dire performance at theirs.
Agree with Mikey that Dan is getting better with each game, solid yesterday and when he wins the ball he actually brings it forward and distributes it to one of ours. My MOTM goes to Ronnie, who was superb, closely followed by Johnson, Noble and Wynter who didn't put a foot wrong in my opinion.
Referee played it quite well, only one strange decision which baffled me.
Not the greatest game but I thought that one goal would settle it, nice to score in the 87th min.
Shame that Mark O went off, hope it's not serious. But I liked the new hair colour.
Shame too that Arthur's back, if I hear how wonderful 'those to lads are' anymore.

Was a very good performance and full of commitment....but please send all the loan strikers home and play some of our academy boys I’m sure they will put in more effort. Lee noble vint and Bonner all fantastic today and charlie’s Best game for a while I thought held the ball up well

But reading Kings remarks about the 1-0 loss to us confirmed to me what a bad loser he is .

Great battling win yesterday. A main reason was how solid the central core of the team was - Ronnie and Tom B who were excellent, Lee and Bradders who fought very hard and Charlie who gave something to aim at.

I was critical of Charlie a couple of months ago and am still a little irked at the 'social calendar' absences, but credit to him, he's looked fresher in the last couple of games and was springing up all over the place yesterday. Just needs a better partner than Roberts to work with.
