Welcome to Dartford FC Billy. Bit worried who we had got when I looked him up on Wikipedia. Said that he made his first league appearance when the Football League recommenced after the war in 1946. He could probably still outpace Ryno

I am all for bringing in any player that will improve our goalscoring options!
We have found it hard to score goals this campaign so hopefully
Billy Crook will add some bite to our attack.

I think he's a midfield player, not a forward, but he has quite a good pedigree. It's central midfield where we are most lacking in numbers and I think this is a very good signing. At present we only have Bradders and Nobes for whom central midfield is their natural position. Wynter's done an okay job but he's better at the back, so we certainly needed another central player. I'm quite pleased about this one and I think it's highly likely he'll start on Saturday.

Looking at his non-league record suggests that he has played most of his career at the lower end of the pyramid and that he is a defensive midfielder, with one goal to his name this season. I was hoping for someone more creative or maybe Billy is, I guess that we will have to give him a chance. Welcome aboard!
Just found this piece by Hakan Hayrettin.

Forgive me for being cryptic earlier, Billy Crook scored the goal in our playoff semi final against Braintree last season. I thought that would have been remembered!
