Nice to see the photo of John Morton and that other little whipper-snapper Kenny Halliday. I'm sure I have told on here the story of my, as a young lad playing against Kenny when they were training at Darenth Park Hospital pre-season. The season they got to Wembley. I think we played a full ninety and as I was sort of marking Kenny that evening I didn't see a lot of him. One minute he was there the next gone. What a great little player he was.
Looking at that photo yesterday, I reckon I could do a better job today. Then I went to the loo and saw the old sod looking back at me.
John Morton has aged well, hardly changed.

Tom Gardener ...a decent defender but for some reason he cannot settle anywhere
Phil Roberts...not a bad front man but again cannot stay anywhere more than 5 minutes
As for Alex Wall ....he looked so good and was full of promise but the last couple of his games I have watched he has been a shadow of the player who destroyed Woking 6-1
a few years ago.
