A good player in him somewhere, hopefully he can come good at Bromley, seems a big jump up in terms of leagues certainly a gamble.

Well Andre scored after coming on as a sub. in Bromley's home defeat. He scored a couple of good goals for us and certainly had some pace, but he was a bit like Bambi on ice too often. Perhaps if he can sort that out he may do ok, has scored goals for Cray this season & Andy Pugh gave him a glowing reference in his Kent Online interview regarding his ball skills. It shouldn't be forgotten he is still very young so has time on his side.

Yes, I hope to have the opportunity of watching Godden play again, tomorrow, assuming he is selected, when Coventry travel to Prenton Park to play Tranmere.
That reminds me, I must speak to Gaza to see what happened to my avatar on the previous website after he named me the Bishop of Tranmere, as I am still known by many, even though the Darts are my first love!!

A hat-trick for Matt Godden, I bet you wish you hadn't seen him after all Pete....

You beat me to a post Steve!

Matt Godden had an excellent game, ghosting into space and heading an excellent opening goal after only 3 minutes. In fairness to him, he was covering every blade of grass, and the muddy areas, of the pitch, full of energy and deserved his goals, although his 3rd was a penalty and difficult to see his second in a crowded area.
Nevertheless, he seems to have overcome his injury woes and back to his best. You can see what TB was hoping from from Matt.
That is 2 hattricks from him in their last 2 away games which Coventry have win 4-1.
Good luck to him.

Sadly, Tranmere are finding it difficult back up in Division 1, and rumours today at the game were that our key centre defender Manny Monthe had been transferred to Portsmouth for £250,000 and wasn't named in the squad.
