Ba MoM for me with Charlie a close second. Why do our players get themselves booked for mouthing off - Bonner first then Elliot and I think Charlie. Ref stopped play for a head injury (which he clearly indicated) then restarted with a free kick which makes him the twat mentioned earlier - though I don't blame him for booking players who mouth off at him (no matter how provoked they feel it is only ever gonna end with a booking).
A lot of application which was good to see, and I was heartened at how we came back at them after the sending off. There didn't look much between the teams to me - we gave them two sloppy goals.

Yes better today,we actually looked like scoring
I too thought that the new lads did well
We won't set the world alight but we should be good enough
to keep clear of trouble.
Referee wasn't poor ,he was p*ss poor.

Much better today, the players showed determination and put in the required effort. Sherringham and Ba looked very lively and real threats. I am pretty sure the ref saw an opportunity to win himself a trophy of a red for Charlie, but unfortunately Charlie made it easy for the by continual moaning.
I always say this but players should totally ignore the ref during the game and concentrate on thier own performance. I always say the football ref is not worthy of being spoken to as most of them are full of thier own self importance, players never learn
Anyway a good performance and definitely in the right direction. We deserved the point and if not more. Man of the match for me was close run between ba and Charlie and for obvious reasons ba gets my vote

Late late equaliser was fantastic, what would we do without Bradders? I don't think I have ever criticised a ref in a post before, I have always felt they do a tough job and sometimes they get it right and sometimes they get it wrong the same as out players, but in the last 5 years I think that has to be worst ref I have seen. The blatant foul on Knowles that was given the other way was laughable. I think the red card was the culmination of so much bad refereeing the team were always going to say something at some point.
Unless it turns out someone in our team is sleeping with his wife I can't think why we would see such biased officiating.

Yes I am inclined to agree the referee was poor
So many strange decisions.
I hope that we don't get lumbered with this clown
Too often!

There's one particular "foul" that referees don't give that gets right up my nose: when a player (no matter whose side he's on) is 3 feet up in the air jumping for the ball and then suddenly shoots forward 3 feet while still in the air, how can the referee not see that that has got to be a push in the back? Most refs hardly blow for a foul, but today's was especially bad - on this and many other things.

Whatever you thought of the ref today Ransom ended up with a face as red as his shirt and our own Doc stitching up his mouth from were his teeth went through it.
Charlie worked hard and played well but I think his antics today probably meant two yellows was fair.
Agree that the verbals aren't needed but I would do the same. Passion and desire are part of the game and heard to control during the heat of the moment.
Ba was my MotM. Lovely, quick, finding space and good passes. Very much in the Pugh mold to me and will get goals and assists.
Nothing Deren could do about either goal and did well with a couple of low hard shots for close range, albeit at angles.
Afaid Martin used his experience to tie Isaac up in knots today. Not his position and wouldn't want to see him there again.
A much better performance for me. Positive and didn't give up even going behind twice. Deserved a draw overall I think.
Onto Ricay. Another tough one and will need another strong team performance. Let's do this.

We started the first half well and got better as it went on so i was very optimistic at half time. However like last week we came out second half and gave away another early goal but credit to the lads today as we managed to get going again (after the p**s poor sending off decision). Still more work to do but more positives than negatives as we now have a goal threat, Ba did well and young Knowles whilst not as good as last week is direct, quick and shows promise. Charlie carried on his good work from last week and will surely get even better with more games so much more optimism up front.
Overall performance also better so MOTM is a lot harder to choose, Nobes had another good game and his commitment and determination are undoubted but a couple of poor challenges in the last two games have cost us so not my choice today, Isaac had a good game at right back, Charlie played well again, Ba was a constant threat but Bradders was steady all game and dragged us back into it after we went down to 10 men and popped up with what felt like the winner, so for that reason he gets my vote.
As for the sending off i listened to Adam's interview on Radio Kent and was amazed at what i heard. He said they asked the ref after the game what happened and he said that he had blown his whistle very quietly but nobody heard him!!!!!!! Now i can accept ref's making mistakes and being bloody useless but IMO that is just an absolute downright lie for so many reasons. How Adam managed to keep calm and say if that is true they have to accept it makes him a better man than me. If the video proves different i'll be amazed and apologise but doubt that will be the case. As far as i recall there weren't any appeals for a free kick, play continued for several seconds and we passed the ball a few times before the ref looked round and noticed their player was still on the floor. It was only then that he decided to stop the game and blow his whistle (the only time he blew it). He then waved on the physio's and it was only then that the Eastbourne players decided to surround him and take advantage of the fact that there player was injured. I think the vast majority of people were expecting him to restart play with a drop ball but to see him show a second yellow was IMO a very poor decision, Charlie can count himself very unlucky.
As a footnote just read your post Groomy and we must have been at a different game

As for their lad, nobody is arguing he was injured but i cannot agree Charlie deserved two yellows or his "antics" deserved them.
It was probably the fact he did get injured that influenced the ref as he clearly didn't whistle or give a free kick for the challenge.

Mate, I agree the ref was terrible, one of the worst. But if Charlie keeps leading with his forearm when jumping he will do damage and will get booked. And ultimately nsent off.

Like radio Kent, a few people are confusing two different issues. Nobody is denying the ref had every right to stop the game and nobody is denying that it was nasty injury. I'm sure all Darts fans wish him well.
The thing that wound everyone up was the manner of the sending off. The ref undoubtedly played on, he did not blow his whistle, the game continued for some time and he only decided to stop play when he realised there was a head injury. Only then, under pressure from some of the Eastbourne players, did he decide it was a foul. Far too much time had elapsed for his explanation to be credible. It is, in my view, a complete fabrication and I don't believe a word of it.
